Where do I start... THIS AIRLINE IS NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL!
We flew with them to get home while we pcsd, and they broke our car seat and our wonderfold wagon that we literally just got 🙃🫠. It's been a nightmare since the beginning with this airline. I'm so frustrated, and I refuse to accept their carelessness.
First, they booked me and Wesley my 3 year old two seats in different aisles even though I asked several times that they would not seperate us! it was a mess. Thankfully someone was able to switch with me last minute because if not then it would have been him by himself! Then no meals and limited snack options on an almost 5 hour flight and then the internet we paid for didn't work at all so don't bother.
Thennn the worst part of all when we land my car seat and wagon were both destroyed! They bent the frame of the wagon and lost a piece of the handle that helps it extend so it's completely unusable. Then the guy at baggage claim in Orlando when we landed told us that no alaskan airlines there doesn't do baggage claims, but once you get home and call, they say no, that's false information! We've been going back and forth with these people, and then after waiting almost a month feeling hopeful, they will fix the problem THEY caused you get an email stating they will not help fix what they broke! That in their rules, they are not liable for strollers that are checked even though they forced us to check it, and they never tell you this before you fly. So, FYI, for any families flying, just dont use them so shady and sketchy. Plus, no where in their rules does it state anything about wagons, and they are the ones that broke it!!!!! They also stated that its because its a fragile item! A metal frame... fragile? HA!! Alaska Airlines, your company mishandled our stuff while we were on our way home and were careless and are now not wanting to take any accountability!!!! You'd think the company would have some integrity and FIX WHAT THEY BROKE!!!!!!
I called again and they are doing a second review but it's frustrating and we've been dealing with them for almost a month now and my husband also noticed that they just updated this contract of Carriage on August 22 so I'd love to know what was updated... I will make sure my family and any of the other families I know never use...
Read moreCompletely unorganized and a chaotic hot dumpster first of a mess. No one was at the front desk to check baggage for almost 40 min, despite them wanting us there early. we arrived 3 hours early as security can take a long time. Everyone was growing anxious as the concern of missing our flight became a growing reality. we requested wheelchair service well in advance and that kept us waiting almost another hour and was so Unorganized. If you wanna feel mass anxiety and completely a burden being disabled, and enjoy losing items in security as it's chaotic and unorganized the way the cut n rush n push people through. My bf lost his glasses in the chaos of things flipping over on the scan belts as they were backed up, TSA did absolutely nothing other then yell at people trying to pick up n dig through to find thier stuff. They 100% should have aided in assisting as items were stuck in thier machinery belt n causing issues making it hard to dig out your stuff. people losing cell phones on there n all. They desperately needs to hire an appropriate amount of staff and get it together. quite a nightmare of an experience and frustrating having lost items. would...

He immediately looked at me, turned away and walked off. I waited about 5 minutes but he walked to the next agent and was just laughing and chatting. That agent pointed at me and nudged him. He returned to me, rolled his eyes and asked for my boarding pass. He told me $35 and held his hand out for my card. He snatched and swiped it then tossed it on the counter. Didn't say a word and walked off without putting my bag on the automatic belt behind him. A female agent saw, gave me a look, said sorry to me and meant it...
