The Lovely Vintage Market — Attraction in Orlando

On a Friday evening, I arrived 10 minutes before closing which was at 6pm. The sales associate was still friendly and did not rush me or the other customers that came in late as well.

I still quickly sifted through a huge pile of eclectic pins for a friend's gift. The associate even made sure I found what I wanted. I still left within closing or at least not more than 5 minutes after, because I feel bad when associates or servers got to wait around beyond closing.

I've gone here several times before this day too. Vintage item lovers will surely like this place. There are also beautiful jewelry done by independent (local?) artists. There's also aromatherapy items and greeting cards. If you like to collect state license plates, the store has ones for...

So when I originally called I was never informed that I had to make an appointment in order to have my items looked at. I drove all the way from Deland which took me an hour to be turned away. The younger girl seemed a lot more empathetic than the older woman who walked up and said, " We don't do things like this without an appointment." In my opinion if you want people to patronize your establishment it's best to be more accommodating..I think it would have taken the older lady just a few minutes to take a look at my stuff. Luckily I found a much more pleasant shop that was very nice and accommodating..Kudos to the other shop because I will be buying from them in the future. I'm a huge...

This store is literally the best and a must stop if you’re in Winter Park. Definitely eat beforehand because there is literally no food open in the area but nonetheless this shop is worth the trip! Super cute set up they have different vendors set up shop so there’s different “vibes” of vintage antique or up-cycled art and clothes for everyone’s tastes. I’ve visited 3 times in the last 5 years and I am from Chicago! Whenever I’m in Orlando I dedicate a day to see the Lovely. I found my prom dress there the vintage 70s dress of my dreams 5 years ago and now I have to go back and visit every time...
