Had annual passes to Universal Studios for about four years. One of my favorite parts was always the Horror Makeup Show. Every single time I visited the park, we would all go together to Horror Makeup Show. Though the material stays the same, the show is a different experience every time, from the one-liners thrown in, to the unique audience interactions, to which moments make the hosts break character and laugh. The show is hilarious, but also informative on actual makeup artists and practices throughout film history. A whole lot of it is based on audience interaction, and it has a level of authenticity that I appreciate-- "this isn't Disney, I don't have to be nice to kids"-- "that'll be $20. My only complaint is a preferred the ending with The Fly transformation over the Eddie character and am not sure why it was changed. The rotation of the cast makes this a great viewing multiple times in a day. I've gone up to 3 times in one day.
I wish universal had more behind the scenes attractions. Seeing the work that went into The Mummy or other films is fascinating and as the park has changed fans of this type of attraction always want these to last forever. I look forward to seeing the skies next iteration.
