Orleans Camera — Attraction in Orleans

Buyer beware if having negatives transferred to digital. A huge RIP OFF!!!! If I could give negative stars I would. Took two 3 photo negatives to be scanned, was quoted over $9 for each negative. Then it was over $9 to get a wetransfer of the images or I had to buy a usb drive from them for about $20. I was going on vacation and asked for the wetransfer to be sent 6/22. Total bill, just under $30. They sent a wetransfer when I was on vacation. I emailed to remind them to send on 6/22 and they confirmed. Had not received as of June 1st so had to go to the store. They'd forgotten and resent while I was there. What I received was one image of all six negatives (didn't I at least pay for one image of each negative?). Plus the scan of the one negative wasn't even straight! Low resolution when trying to work with each image. I thought it would be individual images or at least two images - one of each negative with 3 photos. I then went to Cape Cod Photo, Art & Framing (who had moved and I thought they shut). Scanned the negative in high resolution, sent to me electronically for under $5 and received...

The Best Camera Store Ever!!! I have visited this store so many times, but never seemed to have the time to write a review and thank them for all their help over the years. Joe, an accomplished photographer himself and owner of the store, and his assistant Nicole go out of their way to assist their customers. I had a show coming up today and needed one of my images printed quickly. They dropped everything and quickly printed my image explaining how they could make some adjustments to avoid my image being clipped. It came out fantastic! This is just one example of the amazing service I have received from these two individuals. Their printing equipment and techniques are high-end and there's lots to choose from if you are looking for a camera, filter, etc. They have it all and if not, can order it for you. I'm fairly new to photography and Joe has been extremely helpful with all my questions and helping me find the right gear for my applications. Any questions I had there was a thoughtful answer and I never felt pressured to pull the trigger on something before I was ready. I also had a print done here recently and it came out fantastic. It's nice to support a local business that is truly local. Local businesses like this one need our support now more than ever. Great location right off of US 6 and 6-A, easy to get to even during the summer months when traffic can be an issue. I cannot recommend Orleans Camera...
