Hair, skin, and nail care are important to me. Incl the hair down there! After years of loving my razor I really wanted to see if sugaring was as good as the hype was being made out as. Their IG had really good friendly and inviting skits that gave me insight into the experience and made me comfortable to bare all and try it out. My first visit went better than I could have understood before. I got a Brazilian and everything was like a soft peach all the way up to my 5 week mark when I scheduled my follow up, even tho there was some regrowth it was still soft and comfortable. The removal took over 30mins and we had to take some breathers in between some pulls. But I had 0 pain afterwards. Any left over hairs that hadn't pulled full out were taken out meticulously using tweezers. Unfortunately none the same could be said for my followup. I decided to maybe try a different location for a few reasons after a bad f/u appt but had no intention to return to the OB location. Therefore I left a 3 star review detailing the unsatisfactory experience. I didn't expect much if any feedback but the manager got in touch with me and went above and beyond to commit to her personal promise to get me back in for a 5 star experience, including gifting the sugaring session. Just as the first experience, this make-up session was up to expectation, and afterwards I booked another f/u appt for my Brazilian as well as an appt for underarms --- trying something new. Very disappointed and would not recommend!! I called ro see if I bought a Groupon would they honor it since I couldn't remember if I had been there before. The receptionist looked up my phone number and said that there was no note of me using a Groupon, so I made an appointment, then proceeded to buy the Groupon. I showed up today for my appointment and the receptionist told me that ahe made a mistake and that I could not use the Groupon. So, I drove 25 minutes in the rain to be told that my appointment wouldn't be honored, after specifically confirming in advance that it could. I was told that someone attempted to call me the day before to let me know this. I showed them my record of incoming calls to show them that no one called me. This was a mistake on the receptionist of Mama Bears. The only excuse I was given was that "she is new". I feel that as a customer that your business should have tried to make this right. The only thing said to me was that I could use the Groupon AND pay the difference between that cost and the full price. This doesn't make sense, because that would be the same as paying full price, and the reason I bought the Groupon was for a discounted rate. On top of this Groupon is only wanting to give me a credit, not a refund for what I have paid. I will not be recommending your establishment to any...

I just had my first sugaring service with Jelisa at the Ormond Beach studio and I'm so pleased (and relieved!) by how smooth and comfortable the process was! Having had a bad waxing experience in the past, I was apprehensive about both the awkwardness of intimate hair removal and the discomfort and potential skin inflammation I'd previously experienced. MamaBare and Jelisa wiped out those anxieties with a great experience, patience, and collaboration on my preferences and needs. The actual sugaring process was SIGNIFICANTLY less painful than waxing and there's absolutely no inflammation or discomfort one hour after leaving the studio! I look natural and neatly groomed, which is what I wanted. I absolutely look forward to my next session without any apprehension...and I'm very likely going to schedule additional services.
