Decent food but annoying customer service. I went there roughly around after 12pm today (Sat June 28th) with my wife and we placed an order of 2 bacon egg & cheese sandwiches on our desired bagel amongst other items. We received our order a few mins later and realized we had a 3rd sandwich. I spoke to the shift supervisor Jeff (I believe his name was Jeff) and he gave us the money back for the 3rd sandwich we never ordered but paid for. They couldn’t take the sandwich back physically so we had to keep it. After I received the money back, the female employee (didn’t get her name) who took our order at the opposite counter (didn’t get her name but she was a white female with dark reddish hair, dark framed glasses and a tattoo on her left inner forearm) decided to be nosey and tell Jeff that we did indeed order 3 sandwiches in an argumentative manner, a few feet from where I was sitting. Big mistake on her end, I proceeded to let them BOTH know that, no we did not order 3 sandwiches and why would I order 3 sandwiches if there was only 2 of us. She didn’t expect a response because I guess she thought she can get one over on the customer with her attitude. Well she was sadly mistaken, but I guess her pride got the best of her and she decided to respond back with a piss poor attitude and stated she read the order back. Which she did, she read what we originally ordered, 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, not 3. She messed up and she didn’t even apologize about the misunderstanding. Her pride took over and spoke to the customer with a piss poor attitude. Needless to say this will be the last time my wife and I go there and I will continue to let others know to not go there since you have employees who need customer service education. Also, the way she was talking to the supervisor when she told him that we ordered 3 sandwiches was pretty disrespectful. Coming from a managerial background if that was me she would’ve been out the door that same day. If your employees are having a bad day then they need to check their emotions at the door the moment they walk in because you never know who knows who nowadays, or you never know what the next person is going through and her attitude could’ve flipped the switch resulting with an even worse...
Read moreI typically love this location, but today it seemed like everyone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. i ordered my bagels with my friends, one of which asked for her bagel with a slight customization. an employee turned around astonished as if it would completely derail her shift. because of this, my friend said never mind and ordered her bagel toasted with extra cream cheese. we head to the front, where we check out, and are handed our bagels when my friend notices she wants a little more cream cheese. a slight ask for a bagel shop in my opinion. the person who handed the bag to my friend goes to grab an extra side of cream cheese, and asks the employee (the one who can’t believe she wanted her bagel double toasted), for an extra side of cream cheese. to which she responds with “ ON THE SIDE?” and puts her head to the sky and gives the most dramatic and disrespectful eye roll. the one employee in the building kind enough to offer us decency was the elderly woman at the register. i would only recommend coming here if you want...
Read moreI’ve given reviews on my personal account because I love Einstein. So Milton took out my home internet and the power is out at the apartment. I do important timed legal work for many justice impacted people. Just because we had a hurricane in Florida does not mean court in California will grant an extension so I had to work, people depend on me. After working at Einstein up north years ago during college I knew that someone would be there at 4am so I called and asked if they were open and was their internet working and of course they welcomed me and anyone else in my predicament in for breakfast and work. So over here writing briefs, charging and eating delicious bagels! Einstein in Ormond always treats all us locals...
