Oroville State Theater — Attraction in Oroville

Wow !! The Oroville State Theater is a duplicate of the Senator Theater in Chico, minus the diamond tower. It has been refurbished and reminds me of when I was in high school and we would go to Chico to the Senator Theater to watch a movie. Both theaters were built in the late 1930s... At the Oroville State theater I recently watch the movie "Brigadoon ", with Gene Kelly, Cid Charisse, Van Johnson and many more. It was a real treat. Went to see Foot Loose from the Bird Cage at Oroville State Theater. It has been cleaned up repainted and it's beautiful on the inside. Happened to go see Footloose had the best time ever. It's a beautiful theater and I am so glad it is being preserved and taken care of. But, it's extremely restrictive to those who participate in putting on shows. I get hired to shoot video for performances there and they keep me locked out until they're ready to open the door. I need time to set up and they give me very little.
