My husband used to come to this park when our 10 year old was a newborn. It was close to our house and had a walking trail around the lake with lots of geese, so our baby enjoyed it.
On a recent trip, we found that this park has significantly upgraded from what we remember. Read moreLoveliest park we have visited midday-so much wildlife and just an awesome spot for local flora & fauna, walking, fishing, playing and chillin' as one bench would ask of you here. We loved it! The playground is only temporarily closed for a restoration/upgrade of a feature as of the day of posting this. Many picnic tables are spread throughout the park, many of which are underneath awnings for shade and protection from the weather. Bar-b-que grills are also numerous around the park for those who like to cook. There is also lots of open space for running around in or...
