While I’ve had mostly positive interactions here there have been a few that put a bad taste in my mouth. The park overall is well maintained, clean and, while small, lets owners watch their dogs closely. The owners can be very rude and have said things towards me and my dog that are unwarranted. I have a 50 pound 11 month old pit bull puppy that I’ve had since she was 2 months old. I’ve done all I can to ensure she is well behaved, including 2000 dollar training classes. She is incredibly sweet and gentle, doesn’t bark and has no history of biting. She is smaller than most of the dogs there. There have been multiple times I’ve had owners pull my dog off of theirs because they don’t want them to play together. She was attacked by a golden doodle and I had the owner yell at me to “get that pit bull off my dog” while my dog, at half this golden doodles size was beneath her. One owner in particular stopped her from drinking water saying “well i don’t know if she has her shots” when I informed him she in fact does he said “still lets keep the water separate” Last night was the last straw. There was a little dausund at the park. We have a cat at home so my puppy likes small dogs because she’s used to their size. While she was playing with this puppy the dog started barking and snapping at her. I pulled them away, and for the rest of the visit she was ok. I felt very judged and a lot of the owners were staring me down. There was also a dog trying to hump mine and he was very obvious not sniped. I feel bad for my baby because she’ll get excited to go to the park and then as soon as she shows up people leave. Just feels very...

Great little city park in the heart of Oviedo! The park is well maintained and has many features. There is a splash pad, giant chess, cantina (that sells small snacks), swan boats, playground, dog park, amphitheater, and a big open grassy field. The bathrooms are available near the playground and are kept decently clean. There is plenty of parking, just be careful not to park in the apartment parking.

There are many great events held here throughout the year. You can check the city's website to find the calendar of events. There is a monthly food truck...

Duck poop everywhere. Play ground has a dark flim over it. Trash cans over full. It's cute for the locals, but like why is it so dirty. I guess it is a great way to increase property value from the angles posted on the internet. Has potential if kept clean. Like there's poop on the soccer ball and my son's finger. It is nice it is smoke free . Why is the Veterans Memorial look forgotten about ... how ironic a powmia memorial...
