Excellent food and excellent service. I had been looking for a box meal delivery service, but the reality of that is you STILL have to cook it and with all the delivery problems these days - doubted it would get here as ordered. I like to cook but some days just too much going on, too busy, too tired from work, etc. So, my spouse found this group and suggested I give them a try (yes he cooks but more of a chore for him). They have a great variety; some things are so good I wish I had ordered 2!! I have greatly enjoyed the vegan meals. I do cook myself and generally have lentils, dried beans, spices etc on hand but they have lots of menu items I have not cooked myself. Also, many of the dishes have used ingredients that are NOT things I have around, or if I buy them would be cost prohibitive (too expensive for one or two meals or get ready to eat this ALL week) or are labor intensive like the hummus (using dried beans from scratch, then food processor). Speaking of hummus - their hummus is fresh and tasty - you don't know the difference until you have fresh hummus. The meal portions are big enough for 2 to split although I can finish one off myself. Also, some of the meals can be frozen. I have done this with a couple and they were reheated in the microwave without any problem - I do suggest putting another wrap around the original container for the freezer. Although I do not eat chicken, some of the dishes sound great and I truly appreciate that they are using local chickens w/o the processed hormones. Thank you and looking forward to...

I placed an order for a meal plan and was excited to try out their food. However, there was a significant increase in the following week’s order price and I realized the cost is not feasible for me. I sent FireDeptMeals an email kindly requesting for my subscription to be cancelled and specifically stating that I do not want my current order cancelled (as I needed my food for the week ahead and it was a day from being shipped out). I kindly informed them that I cannot afford the cost of the meal plan moving forward, sadly. Their response was, word for word: “Living in [my city], [we] know you pay more than that when you eat out or even if you make it at home”. A very condescending and arrogant response to my situation.

After about 15 minutes (I didn’t even have a chance to respond), I received another email in which they informed me that they have taken it upon themselves to cancel my current order and that they won’t ship out my food when I had specifically asked them kindly not to do that. I replied to this by respectfully reiterating that I do NOT want that order cancelled, and they never responded afterwards.

It seems they were quite upset by my inability to afford the meal plan; so much so that they made baseless assumptions of my spending habits and wouldn’t even ship out my food. It is really disappointing when a promising company has such poor customer service and a disrespectful attitude. This can be a huge deterrent for people willing to support their business. I had high hopes, but am now glad that I won’t be doing...

This place is amazing. Without giving too much away, I can see this place from my bedroom window. It's actually dangerous to my health how close this place is to me. I say that because bagels aren't exactly a big thing down here near the South, which is sad, because my literal favorite meal in the world is a bagel breakfast sandwich.

I mean that. More than biryani, more than shrimp fajitas, I would choose the breakfast bagel sandwich for my last meal on earth. And this place makes the best one that I have ever had, that wasn't made in my own kitchen.

This places main bread 'n' butter is their pre-made meals that you buy in certain amounts and take home as like, meal prepped meals for the week or whatever time period you want. I'm not sure. I am not a customer of that side of the business. But I do guarantee you that I will be a customer of their breakfast sandwiches at least one Sunday a month for the rest of my life.

They have like the classics. Bacon, egg, and cheese. Ham, egg, and cheese. The usual suspects, but the very generous portions on the super thicc super soft bagels are amazing. I've had the everything and the jalapeno cheddar bagels so far, and I can vouch that they are both amazing.

Overall, this place is great. Easy five stars. I'm sure their home meals are good, too. Come give...
