The Blend Salon — Local services in Oviedo

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at The Blend Salon due to the way I’ve been treated as a client — which I find completely unacceptable.

I’ve been to Addy several times, and unfortunately, there’s been an issue with my hair almost every single visit. She often juggled multiple clients at once, leaving me to be passed off to someone else to finish the service or to her assistant. On top of that, she made unkind remarks about my hair in front of a friend who also goes to the salon, which was both unprofessional and embarrassing.

Addy also repeatedly missed spots when applying dye, and the semi-permanent color she used would wash out after just a few washes — even though I clearly stated that I wanted my hair permanently restored to my original color. This led to me having to return multiple times for corrections, which was both frustrating and avoidable.

Ironically, one of the stylists she had me switch over to while multitasking actually did a better job at removing my extensions and charged less for the same service. Because of that positive experience, I chose to start booking with Nadia instead.

However, after that decision, Nadia canceled on me three different times. I later found out from my friend that Addy had been speaking negatively about my hair to her again — on the same day one of my appointments was canceled. It became clear that Addy influenced Nadia to decline my future bookings simply because I chose to switch stylists.

The way I was treated throughout this process — from the unprofessional behavior to the gossip and canceled appointments — was incredibly disappointing. I won’t be returning, and I hope this review encourages the salon to reflect on how they treat...

Where oh where do I begin!! I came to Tiffany about 4-5 years ago after years and years of finding somewhere cheap to go and get my hair done. After having it messed up one too many times, I decided to find somewhere to go where I would spend a little bit more, but have that quality reflected in my hair. Thank GOD I found this angel on Instagram because she has COMPLETELY transformed my hair. Not only is she the GOAT in balayage, but she will always be honest with you about what makes sense and doesn’t aka she will tell you she is not going to fry your hair and make you bleach blonde at the expense of your hair quality. I know hair spend can be costly, but I find her pretty reasonable especially compared to the market rates for this stuff, and now I’d much rather pay more for QUALITY. I get compliments on my hair allllll the time and every time I give credit straight to my gal, Tiffany and send my friends her way. Anyway, I have rambled enough at this point- check out the pics below if you don’t believe me (all after a Tiffany appointment) I am so serious about my hair health now and only use products she tells me to use....

There’s just such a difference when you leave this salon vs. leaving other salons; I am constantly getting compliments on my hair from strangers in public.

Before I started coming to Brittany, I was always the typical brassy-blonde who left her hair appointments crying about how much money I spent on chunky yellow highlights and a bad hair cut.

My hair has been a beautiful cool-tone silvery blonde for 4 years now, thanks to Brittany + Blend. Even my 5-month grown out roots still look like a darker balayage, and I still end up getting compliments days before my next hair appointment. She gives the best advice on products to ensure you know how to care and maintain that bright blonde color. She truly transformed my hair and I am forever grateful for her talent and expertise.
