Tacos My Guey — Restaurant in Oviedo

DANIEL DANIEL DANIEL!!! He has got to be the best restaurant host/server/human ever. He is the type of person that should be the first face customers see. You can really tell he cares about the customer and the overall experience for people. He is very sweet and very generous. He gave our niece a restaurant themed toy and a little coloring sheet and he came by our table a couple times and made sure everything was good. He also sold me on a margarita lol. If I were a million dollar business owner I would ask him how much does he want to quit and come work for my business. People like him do not come around often. I would very much keep him at this establishment and give him a big raise or a bonus or something. I was very blown away with his attention to detail with customer care and an overall restaurant experience. Now onto the food… I am a very picky eater so I got a kids chicken tender with chips and a strawberry frozen margarita MAN IT WAS SO GOOD if I could change one thing it would be to make a spicy chicken tender. But they were tasty and juicy and fresh. The margarita was perfect I felt it hit me in a good way yet it still taste really good! I also like the environment very very nice! I usually go to the pizza place in the food factory and fun fact I was going to that day but it was Daniel that made me want to come try this place and I will for sure be coming back because of him and because of how good...

We went tried Tacos my Guey on the 5th Grand opening day. The food tasted good. I ordered 3 birra tacos $15.95 and sampler with Al Pastor taco, shrimp quesadilla and 1/2 chicken faulta $9.95. Chips and Guacamole $7.95. All of it taste good. The shrimp were smaller and not much flavor in quesadilla. (Least favorite) The birra tacos were good, The birra dip was lacking depth of flavor. (Seemed watered down / not rich with flavor or fat) The chicken Flautas was tasty with crispy outter shell (Tasted the birra flautas as well both very good) The chips and guacamole were thumbs up also. A negative was the sauces are small 1oz can't dip in or get very much out of them. Hot sauce was good and it had heat to it! Thumbs up.

The prices are bit high for what you get. We had the 50% off Oviedo promo. So, just my lunch was still pricy. $16+$10+8=$34 plus tax and tip... adds up quick. At the 50% off... It was acceptable. I wouldn't pay full price though. I'm always looking for a special or deal. I'm frugal by blood.

I know times have hiked up the prices etc. I know the rent in that location has to be ridiculous. 🙄

The food is good, if I am craving Mexican... I would stop by for...

5 star for this location that just opened up like 2 weeks ago. My neighbor told me about this location and my dad and I went there 08/24/25 around 5pm, order the carnitas bowl with a Pepsi and the food was delicious. We ordered 6 tacos deal, 3 chicken and 3 carnitas for the rest of the family and they liked both, but the carnitas were better :grin:...A young lady Juliana helped my dad and I and with the rest of the order.

Today 08/29/25 I went back around 9:30pm. The atmosphere was nice, fan blowing nice air, people sitting outside having a good time, music playing for those sitting inside, but you can still hear the music from the other location ( didn't bothered me). I ordered again the carnitas bowl, chips and dip and a Pepsi. Gabriel and Jose assisted me this time, very cool employees. Update: I went back on 9/27/25 and placed an order at 9:50pm. The place was packed, great music, the outside tables and seats were full, great atmosphere and again great food, friendly and...
