MURPHY APPLIANCE CO — Attraction in Owensboro

My first time buying from Murphys. I should have been coming here years ago. My grandmother always dealt with Murphys. Beth was awesome. She greeted me at the door and asked what I was looking for. I told her a dishwasher..she asked what I wanted it do. I told her I wanted it to clean run quiet and have heated dry. She guided me to the GE dishwasher. It was installed by the nicest guy. I cannot recall his name. I thought the dishwasher had a special function and it didn't. So the guy must have told her. Beth called to give me a credit back or have the function installed. We chose to have it installed. Thanks Beth and Murphys Appliance. I will see you verysoon on purchasing a new refrigerator. This is how businesses should be. What an awesome first experience. No more shopping at lowes...

Atrocious customer service! I called to get a quote and after giving the make of my appliance the rude man gave me an amount. I am hard of hearing so I repeated it back to be sure, he immediately got short with me and yelled "no, I said $400!" Then he HUNG UP ON ME!! I was stunned, but a few minutes later he called me back and without saying who he was started in on why it wasn't worth replacing my stove top because buying a new one was the same amount (it's not). THEN he began to BERATE me on my phone etiquette, justifying why he hung up on me, saying it's a one-way conversation and how I should just listen and so on. Never in my life have I experienced such rudeness! Whenever some one asks for a recommendation I will go out of my way to ensure Murphy Appliance in Calgary is...

I failed to give a review from the interaction we had with Murphy's awhile back and it was a pleasureable experience! Our refrigerator broke down and we called on. Murphy's for servoxe. The compressor was shot and we needed to buy a new one. We got a good deal on a used one from them. About 6 months later we were able to buy a new refrigerator and we got a great deal from Murphy's. I have recommend to famy and friends and they have been happy with them as well. Thur have also serviced a washing machine for us. Great service and great prices.
