My daughter went to Regiss to get 4 bridesmaid dresses, the girl that helped was Miranda she told us that she is the store manager, at the time she was very nice. The trouble started when all 4 dresses came in 3 of them was to big one was to small. The one that was to small she took it in and Miranda got it to zip up for her. I’m surprised she didn’t bust the seams when she forced the zipper up. I called Miranda to inform her about all of the dresses being to large, and I was told with a attitude from her that she had been measuring people for 10 years and that she knew what she was doing, well apparently she doesn’t, cause they were all wrong. At this point we just want are money returned, she told me she had to call the owners and talk to them about it, then she called me back and wanted them to bring the dresses and try them on in front of her, well one of the girls did, and she was no help at all. She her that she could have it altered, you know it wouldn’t be bad to have the length altered but this was the bust and waist. So she did nothing about anything, just waisted our time, and these Dresses were $200.00 each. You know Owensboro is a small town to get a bad review on that could really hurt your business. They have very low stock so there is no way to try on the correct size you need. I would just like them to do the right thing and give our money back. It takes forever to get the dresses in so they can’t be ordered again, to get them in time for the wedding. Had a VERY disappointing experience at this bridal shop. Upon our arrival, our “salon consultant”, April, stated she hadn’t pulled any dresses as she was so busy the whole day, when inspiration pictures had been sent 2 weeks prior to the appt. Over the phone while scheduling the appt, we were told the styles of the wedding dresses the bride liked were available in store or they would pull the dress from the other locations to have present for her appt. While looking for dresses, there were absolutely none of the dresses there that she had been interested in. Their selection was disappointing as there were very few styles and sizes. The dresses were “designer” dresses but looked of poor quality. April was putting the bride in dresses that were way too small that would not fit the bride and give a good example of what the dress may look like in a larger size when ordered. The consultant continued to tell the bride what she thought would look good on her and saying “no offense but..” and telling the bride it would not flatter her if she wore long sleeves or a mermaid style. Every offense was taken as the bride specifically liked and wanted long sleeves and a mermaid style for her wedding dress as she had tried multiple styles that were available at another bridal salon. The consultant also started off the appt with being very unprofessional and talking badly about the other bridal salon we had visit previously. Wow! THIS was the experience we had dreamed of!! Not knowing what bridal dress shopping was like, or what to expect.. we had hopes and expectations. Miranda and Regis’s Bridal and Prom in Owensboro, KY exceeded everything we thought.

First, we had a private area to try on dresses and look in the mirror, complete with comfortable and quality seating for guests to sit in while ooing and aweing over the gown selections. It was clean, fresh, well organized and felt private!

Secondly, the dress selection was GREAT! Many different styles, colors and designers and prices, all easily accessible and displayed.

What made Regis’s the BEST experience though (and we researched and visited other stores in southern Indiana and surrounding KY)... was Miranda. Miranda was our personal consultant through the ENTIRE process. She truly made this event a beautiful, special, relaxing and fun experience (and we were a little nervous going into dress shopping)! Miranda is 10000% perfectly suited for this job. You can tell that this is her passion, and WOW is she good. She consulted with us to pick out gowns, she explained how it fits and how it could be altered... she laughed with us (and maybe even teared up a little when we found “the one”). She was part of our “team” and so very supportive, without being too much.

This was a dream come true, and Miranda, you made this the experience we always dreamed of....
