I visited this establishment under gloomy conditions as my husband, brother, and I went in for a bite to eat after leaving our brothers funeral service. I had heard some very good things about the place and since the unfortunate services had us returning to the area we thought trying it out might bring a little positive to our day. We tried out one of their speciality pizzas the Bambino along with the pretzel cheese bites as an appetizer. My older brother and husband both loved everything they ate enough we didn't need a box as they didn't leave any leftover. This restaurant gave me no reason to complain, It's simply that I lacked an appetite given the circumstances. As an operator, former inspector myself I have always been a bit skeptical of the cleanliness of public eateries as in years behind the scenes I never walked into one and found it clean enough to suit me when I began working there. They all took at least a month of scrubbing under and behind everywhere before I'd think of recommending them to another and I found no reason for complaint. Last inside the building, when it served Chinese cuisine the former buffet area had been converted to a cozy, contemporary looking bar. Guests seemed to enjoy themselves as the bartender greeted us and allowed us to seat ourselves at my request. She ensured that a server was sent to us promptly also The dinning room we sat in was completely converted. Almost had a steak/pizza pub/club atmosphere that could host djs, bands, even comedic nights. I felt like a work or more intimate party might be possible to book here as well. A simple menu loaded with variety the people where the nicest spice during our visit. Even with good affordable food you always stand a chance of finding people can be so rude. Enjoyed our selves while filling up on a good meal, around great people, staying long enough to luck into being checked on by one of the owners personally as well. Joshua Tabor, thanks for caring what we thought. You must be listening to opinions of others as u seem to be doing something right. Great service, subtle atmosphere, family environment, with a dynamic crew is not something every member of management, operator, or investor ever gets lucky enough to experience. Big apple taste with less rude than the usual Manhattan mood. Highly recommend everyone head over for their next social stop out w friends. Wether ur sipping or snacking only a non tipping Karon wouldn't...
Read moreSo, I was totally excited to try this place I've heard a couple good things. I bought it for my birthday dinner and went overboard and spent almost $50 just for me lol. The hibachi.... and the sushi are my complaints. They tasted so much like oil I couldn't even eat it. I ordered the triple meat with the beef, chicken and shrimp and only got 2 shrimp. I called to let them know and said I have no problem bringing it back as I couldn't eat it. I did try a sushi piece, than with the sauce to see if that made it better and had my husband try one to make sure it wasn't just me. He did refund me for the hibachi but wouldn't for the sushi roll after I told him it was not edible. He had an attitude with me the whole time which is why I'm writing this review. I wasn't going to. I thought he would make it right and understand my concerns but he was brushing me off. Bad service, loud music and food you can't eat unless you want to taste nothing but oil. 0/10 would...
Read moreFirst of all my hat off to this new establishment! Not only was the food fantastic but it was a great atmosphere as well. The pricing was reasonable and worth every penny. The pizza left me speechless. The taste was perfectly balanced and unlike anything ive ever experienced. As a native to Paducah, I must say ive waited for a pizza place like this for the past 33 years. I am so glad I got to experience this pub and pizzaria. It is kid friendly as well. Stop by and try them out. You'll be glad that you did. I recommend The Five Points Pizza which is bursting with flavor. Thank you for an exceptional experience. We...
