The following is my perception opinion and views . Everything is fact-based to my fullest ability to understand as an educated 40 something year old. The following are my observations: owners of this establishment attempted to collect payments from EVERYONE who lived there on a holiday weekend with full knowledge of impending shut down by the health department and fire chief. Upon arrival of previously refereed to holiday they were shut down and close to 70 ppl were displaced. The owners shoved blame onto the ppl who worked (and lived) there shirking their own responsibilities completely. Then fired and docked the pay that was owed to her employees (whom many of which lived and breathed for their company) by HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. Then having no remorse to speak of, began demanding that rooms be cleared out completely. I personally suffered great loss of material possessions as well as my partner loosing nearly EVERYTHING THAT THEY OWNED! And the rudeness of the whole ordeal solidified the onset of attempted suicides, vagrances of countless adults and at least three households with children, displaced domesticated animals, and the hope that was left in the lives of many people. This is all factual and true to my understanding. I watched the evil that was committed undeservingly to these residents. My heart bleeds for these people. These are my experiences and my views. All I ask is that you think twice and investigate a place before investing thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars to live in dilapidated flooding no hot water constant drug dealers constant strangers knocking on your door day and night at all hours unpredictable Neighbors violence screaming deceit theft and general lack of respect for Humanity. These slumlords don't deserve a dime of your hard-earned money in my personal opinion. And although there may be a few select people that will disagree with my opinion in this situation, everyone is entitled to their opinion although.. I watched people on a fixed income that were handicapped and elderly thrown out of their homes of years after they were charged money that they could afford to pay and still somehow managed to pay and we're given no guarantees past 3 to 5 days of assistance from Salvation Army and the Red Cross. Bless you Red Cross bless you...
Read moreI have stayed here for several weeks trying to get ahead and into an actual apartment. They charge $199.00 a week for the room I stay in. I moved from an apartment on the first floor, which they charged an extra $20.00 a week for a "convenience" fee. $20 for the remote control to the SMART TV, which hardly ever gets connected to their "internet" The amount of roaches I've killed in here mirror the casualties in The Civil War. I'm constantly either having to spray pesticide, put down Combat Roach away, only for more to come. When they "cleaned" the room next to mine after a complete abysmally trashy nasty person moved out, on both sides, more roaches came. One day they bombed the room next to me, with the whole air-conditioning system ripped from it's placement, resulting in the fog just rolling out doing nothing. Tonight marks the 3rd time in a month that without warning, there is either, no water or low water pressure. It's awesome to work 14 hours, come "home" to take a shower, with good faith you can, and not be able to wash. The rooms they charge 299+ for I'd be even more disaappointed in the fact that I wouldn't be able to wash myself. In the weeks I've been here, to date, I alone have spent over 2300$. The "servicemen" I doubt are even licensed to do the work they are tasked with doing, as ALL of the staff live here. I've seen one licensed vehicle here to service the building, however it's only on the side where the staff lives. Your "contract states that management is not responsible for anything you HAVE A RIGHT TO HAVE. SUCH AS WATER, POWER, INTERNET, ECT. Personal injury, accidents, I will be posting my room receipt so you can see and try and understand some of the random numbers they put on here, as they make no sense.
If you can...AVOID STAYING HERE BY ANY...
Read moreI think that it deserves more than a 2.8. From the outside I was a little skeptical but they are working on it. When I went in the office she explained that she was doing a lot of renovating. And the work is getting done.
So I went and looked at one of the rooms and I was floored. The laminate hardwood floors are absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad there is no carpet. I pay attention to little things so when I saw the refrigerator was a mini refrigerator with a separate freezer on top, I was very happy. GREAT FEATURE.
They have great water pressure, very clean bathroom, a huge countertop for the sink not just a little vanity. I was given a littlebit of leeway which I like. I am able to rearrange to my liking and we are able to cook in the room which is saving me a lot of money. Basically it is my own apartment. It does not feel like a motel.
The walls are a soothing blue not to mention it's very spacious in here. This hotel room has 90% of my expectations of what I was looking for. I say that because they're still renovating the downstairs rooms and I would much rather have a room downstairs but everything else is absolutely perfect for me.
The manager is very strict about the rules and the people that used to be here years ago are no longer here. the way things are now, the readings should be at least a 4.0 This place has improved tremendously.
I would also like to mention that the lady in the office, Joe, is extremely kind and so are the maids the maintenance man and some of the neighbors that I've met so far.
I really don't have anything bad to say about this place. She has come a long way to make this place a better living environment.
If I had listened to the ratingsthat were mostly not true, I would not have discovered this diamond...
