Candy Wonderland - Palm Bay — Attraction in Palm Bay

First time visiting and my toddler absolutely loved it! Honestly a perfect place to bring kids when the weather is rainy or too hot to play outside. The Place was kept a great temp for the kids and adults watching, was super clean and maintained the cleanliness through our our time by the multiple staff members that were constantly on the floor monitoring, the staff was friendly, bathrooms were very clean and kept, the toddler/baby area was spotless and great for the little ones, the 2 story play ground was very clean and pretty easy to move through if you are an adult following your little one. My girl loved the sprinkle pit, slides and climbing walls. Very affordable price for a fun kid adventure. I especially liked the time slot reservations and having 2 adults be able to accompany the child your booking for included in the booking price. The socks they have were cheap in price, comfy and actually fit my toddler and myself without being too loose or too tight as well as being reusable for future visits. Having it be reservations only made it great so it wasn’t overly busy or packed in the play areas at any given time which made it a lot less stressful and nerve wracking to be able to keep an eye on my girl very easily. It is especially nice that the entire play area is fully enclosed and blocked off from The main door/lobby area as well as having the entrance/exit gate to the play area be monitored by a staff member at all times to prevent any child from leaving the area unattended. If a staff member was not there for a moment the gate was closed and a staff member at the counter could open the gate at request. Will definitely be bringing my girl back...

Suggestions first:

Install hooks in the family restrooms to hang diaper bags or purses while you’re changing diapers. The diaper pail in the family restroom on the left had a broken top and needs to be replaced. Implement monthly memberships. Single day passes can get expensive very quickly if a family wants to go often and that’s not economical for most families with a median or below income. It’s great that 2 adult passes are free but for the first time to take 2 kiddos was already $70, which next time would be cheaper due to not having to pay for the socks again.

The actual review:

We have seen pictures of this place but didn’t truly know what to expect until we got inside. This place is massive and there’s so much more to explore than meets the eye. Checking in was easy and quick. The place was extremely clean and there were staff members walking around with handheld vacuumed and baskets for picking up rogue ball pit balls. It was very busy but with so much to do and so many rooms we still enjoyed our time. One of the best features of this place was the construction. Adults can go anywhere kids can go so you don’t have to try and find them when they are somewhere in the obstacle course or second story rooms. There’s something for everyone and we never felt like our kids never got to play with something because there are multiples of toys. Love that this place is open from 9-9 on the weekends so that gives ample time for families to go. If it weren’t for us wanting to eat lunch we would have stayed longer! Excited to plan our next visit with friends. Worth it!! Now open one up in Viera instead of another...

We recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday at this venue, and while the place itself was beautiful, clean and the kids had a great time, our overall experience was mixed. One of the biggest issues was the timing of the pizza. We only had a 90-minute slot, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM, but the pizza didn’t arrive until 1:10 PM, leaving us very little time to eat, sing happy birthday, and enjoy the cake before our time was up. The staff attributed the delay to a last-minute change due to a food allergy notification, but we were aware that the order was already running late before that because they had already told my husband. In fact, one of our family members overheard the staff mentioning that the pizza supplier had lost all the orders from the venue, which seemed to be the real cause of the delay.

They were approximately 30 minutes late, and we felt it would have been important to extend our time to make up for their delay. However, we were simply told that it wasn’t possible. If extending the time truly couldn’t be done, perhaps offering another solution to compensate for their error would have been appreciated.

Additionally, throughout the entire party, no staff member checked in on us to see if we needed anything. The only time someone came by to mop the floor was after my husband specifically asked them to because there was a spill.

In the end, the kids still had fun, and we enjoyed the venue, but we hope they can improve their organization and attentiveness in the future, especially considering how much they charge for these...
