This place is just what I needed.
It’s the only self wash I could find withinf 20 mins from me (I don’t have a driveway to wash)
Machine takes cash and cars, fair prices, you pay to vacuum separately. Well equipped many options and it all works.
Came at odd hours of night 12am to be exact. Had a good time washing. I bucket wash so I don’t really care for the soap broom and stuff(don’t want to scratch my car with such an abrasive brush) I bring my own soap bucket and tons of microfiber towels and goto town.
May I suggest having the brush detached so anyone can use it if needed but to attach foam cannons to the foam hose so we can just soap the car down without having to ruin our paint.
That’s my ONLY suggestion, many self wash’s in LA have a foam gun with no brush attached. They scrape the hell out of your clear coat.
No homeless people hanging out here. Although I did watch my back to be safe. There was some guy riding around on his bike a few times (creepy it was 12:15am) but then he left when someone else pulled into vacuum their car lol odd hours. Anyway I’ll proably not go that late again or just bring my bubba cus I was alone. I wasn’t scared but I was cautious.
I also came in the day time. No wait at all. Did what I needed and left. I’ll continue to come back but I really would like to see that broom detached from the soap PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...
Read moreJust went here yesturday to check out this wash that Ive hear a few people talk about. I just had my SUV ceramic coated and needed a touchless wash so I tried the automated Lazer wash at this location. I decided to do the $8 wash instead of the $6 one cuz it included rocker panel wash and I wanted a full experience. I didnt need the wax for $12 and etc so I decided to try it out. It was fast and did very well, HOWEVER it did not rinse very well. The machine does 2 passes with the soap which covers the vehicle nicely but the rinse cycle needs 2 passes as well to get all the soap off. The one pass did OK but only got Id say about 85% of the vehicle rinsed. Since its such a high power spray that it pushes the soap into other parts of the car I would suggest that it does 2 passes for a rinse. So thats pretty much my only gripe is that I wish for the $8 I would have gotten a better rinse than say the $6 basic version. I will now try out the manual wash in another week or 2 and see if my $5 stretches out better there since i can control where i wash the car. For now i still have some dried soap on my side view mirrors and some water spots on back window due to improper rinse. Not sure if this wash uses ionized or filtered water or just regular tap but it might be wise if it is tap water to change to filtered water to counter the...
Read moreI've been going here weekly for about 7 years now. There's an always-busy touchless wash that I have never used, three completely-equipped bays, and one outside bay with no dryer. I use one of the three bays, each of which have a high-pressure spray gun, wheel cleaner brush, scrub brush (which I never use), mat hangers, and a blow dryer. The wands provide lots of soap, a good rinse, and a clearcoat setting that I again don't use. The new blow dryers are great for getting water out of the crevices. The $6 10-minute cycle is long enough to get everything done if you're efficient. The bays go from completely empty in the dead of night to a haphazard waiting line during daylight hours. There are a few spots to dry/detail your car, but only one or two are shielded from the sun, depending on the time of day, which is a requirement in this area if you want to prevent water spots. The bays have credit card readers. There's a sink to rinse and squeeze dry your dry towel. The floors of the bays themselves could use a bit more regular blowing and pressure washing, but otherwise the facilities are well-kept. There are usually some creepy characters traveling through who would likely scare a...
