Jason The Computer Guy — Attraction in Palm Springs

I fly a lot! I had just returned from the Netherlands, was at home to do some work on my ASUS Zen Book laptop, turned it on, wasn't connecting to my home wifi. Thought perhaps it was my VPN was the prob....not that, ...rebooted the computer...still no wifi,...tried the microsoft troubleshooter...still not connecting , so before i spent all day wasting various ways of trying to fix it myself, as im not especially tech savy, decided I could make better use of my time by finding an expert. Moved here May 2024 so didn't know of any computer fix it businesses, so went to YELP & Google reviews to locate a reputable tech repair business. Immediately saw "Jason the Computer Guy" business. It's just him, which I like, small business, so your not dealing w/ various techies, being passed around. Called him, he said bring it over. At his place, told him the problem. Very nice guy. He asked me some questions, then told me it'd be fixed w/in several hours. Jason, called me a few hours later, it was fixed w/ a very reasonable price. So much cheaper than what I would of paid in the SF Bay Area. When i went to pick it up., Jason explained that soon I'd need a new laptop, yes..mine was old, & the 8GB of RAM would not be able to be enough for the Windows 11 at some point. He said he could help me pick out a decent laptop, for my needs. Jason is a Super nice guy, very friendly, helpful...and especially is very honest, someone you can trust to fix your PC or Mac computer and at a very good price....

My iMac was performing painfully slow and I was talking to a friend about that and she recommended Jason the Computer Guy who had just serviced her computer for the same problem with an amazing result. I contacted Jason who came to my house and in less than five minutes he got to the root of the problem - that my mechanical hard drive was not able to adequately serve my operating needs. Jason suggested that I change the mechanical hard drive to a solid state drive, and I had him do it. He took my computer overnight and returned it as soon as the drive was replaced and the computer restored to its original state from a back-up drive. The result is that any and all commands I now execute on my iMac are absolutely instantaneous! For example, before the replacement of the drive, it sometimes took 2-3 minutes to open a Pages, Numbers, or Keynote document. Now that lag is down to 3 seconds or less. And all other functions are at lightning speed now. The difference between pre and post service is like night and day! I would highly recommend Jason! He explains everything very well, knows his stuff, is very trustworthy, and extremely punctual. If I ever need computer work done again, Jason will be the only person...

My desktop computer encountered an error and shut down during my six month visit to Palm Desert. I was referred to Jason by another computer repair service who was too busy. I contacted Jason and he was able to diagnosis my computer if I brought it to him. I let Jason know I had planned to replace this computer. Jason completed the diagnosis and was able to access the files on my hard disk for transfer. Jason sent text messages and photos during the process which was very helpful. We determined it would be more efficient and cost effective to get a replacement computer. Unfortunately no suitable new computers were available in the local stores. While I was looking Jason located a refurbished computer online that he was familiar. I order that computer which was delivered in two days with a new hard drive. After the computer delivered Jason advised me of his progress, and even noticed the new computer had display ports instead of the HDMI and VGA ports I had previously used for my dual monitors. Jason sent links to the adaptors I would need. The new computer has been running successfully with no issues for the last couple weeks. I will definitely use Jason again, and would recommend...
