Fireside Lounge — Restaurant in Palm Springs

Being a man of color always skeptical when I see a particular crowd. Lol.. However, I was treated well the chef came me personally! Thought that was so cool.. lol.. Upon me returning there a 3rd time. I said to the chef "food was good and I am here for my 3rd time you guys have not let me down." He replied "and we never will!!" That was the perfect response for me! The food was really good enough to return multipletimes.. lol... I don't eat pork and extremely few places here that make decent beef barbecue... However the bar part of it is not for people of color.. lol..lol.. I never let racism detour me but I am above 50 I know where I am not welcome! If it were just food and service they get 5 stars. But the experience with the bar and experiences of friends it makes their score drop! I'll just stay away from that side lol.. Don't want to give out hair...

The ambiance here is very relaxed. If you're looking for the perfect place to have a few beers, play some pool, and use a neat jukebox, this is the place to be. I'll admit that their mixed drinks are a little too heavy on the alcohol for someone that likes drinks on the sweater side but their beers are nice and cold. I've been coming here since I moved to the desert 5 years ago. The bartenders are all female most of which are kinda old but their nice. Ashley is the best.Visit her 2 or 3 times and she will know what you're drinking and have it on the bar before you sit down.
