We went to the Palmdale Amphitheater for the first time to see the Patti Labelle concert. The concert was great. My 3 star review is for the amphitheater. First, if you purchase seats in the preferred area, there is no need to bring a chair or get there too early. We arrived 2 hours early, and 45 minutes before the concert there were still seats around us. The preferred seats were great, but a little too close together. Secondly, The amphitheater doesn't allow food or drinks to be brought in. 😕 There were 5 food trucks, only 2 of which had a full menu of food selections. My friends spent 90 minutes in line for food!! Absolutely ridiculous 🙄!! I recommend use the extra time and eat before you come. Lastly, the amphitheater must do better when thousands of people are exiting. This is a major safety issue! We exited from the west gate, which was about 6 feet wide. It was a big bottle neck of people trying to fit in this small opening. It wasn't that there aren't other gates, they just WEREN'T OPEN!!! It there was an emergency, like a fire or God forbid an active shooter, many lives would have been lost. In this day and time, public safety has to be at the forefront of the amphitheater.

This 5 Star Rating is for the July 4th Firework Show in 2024. The show is definitely worth the $3.5/adult. The pictures and videos that I took speak for themselves. It is such a great show that is on par with big theme parks and events. I recommend locals in the Antelope Valley to seize the yearly opportunity for a brilliant firework show in such a short distance.

Very clean and safe... A good place to bring family for a concert or movie night in the park ect... We had a blast... We went to see Metalachi but they have all kinds of different bands and events... If you want to have fun with live music and family im a safe environment in the AV, this is the place to go..

The Springfest 2018 was such a disappointment. There were so many people, since this is a free event, that the wait times for everything were an hour or more. We got there at 12 and had a hard time buying wristbands because they would only accept exact change or small bills. Then once we finally got change and our kids had wristbands the lines for the pony rides, mazes, crafts, games, and the egg hunt were SO long you couldn’t do much of anything. You wait an hour for 1 minute of fun. Definitely won’t waste our time next year. Just...

I'm so pleased with the concerts and events the Palmdale amphitheater has been doing. The events are fun and nice to hang out with family or friends depending on what it is. For the concert nights, tickets can be purchased on line or at gate. They have cops on site and security checks at entrance. They serve beer & wine cash only and limited to 3 drinks a person. There are food vendors as well most take cash or cards. Movie nights with the kids can get pretty packed, get there a little early to get a spot on grass. Theres activities...
