Aloha Shave Ice — Restaurant in Palmdale

Would not recommend, they post fake coupons and have no customer service. I live about 3 minutes walk away from this store. I decided to try it out because I found a coupon with their logo and address on it. We were first in line and forced to wait 10 minutes just to be acknowledged. I presented the coupon I had been obviously holding and waiting to use and was declined. Despite the coupon being for this restaurant they told me no. Being my first time here I decided okay no problem I'm here with my best friend we can just get a couple of bobas still and for our troubles maybe we could get a small discount or something due to the circumstances. I tried to let them leave a great first impression and all attempts failed. Left me with a horrible taste in my mouth. I'll just go get something better...

This review hurts me to write. This place has been pretty darn good in the past, and I know places have bad days, but today was just bad...

What saved today was that the staff genuinely cared. The owners not so much.

My smoothie come with a hair in it (yuck). The staff jumped to remake, but the owner who had originally made it was just as happy to throw it away (and didn't really see a problem. Nor was she wearing any hat/net.)

And then the gentleman behind me had a mildly complicated group order, but they over charged him by double!!

When things aren't over charged or hairy, they are...

On a good note..... Love their shaved ice...very addicting.....and the people who work there are very polite. On a not so good note.... .the blue dyes used for some of their flavoring leaves , without sounding too grotesque, what comes out of you, blue as well. That’s some intense dyes. Don’t know how good the dyes could possibly be for you but we all know we aren’t getting shaved ice for our health lol. Also, I came twice, right before 9pm (8:57 to be exact) and they already had their closed sign up. Their website says they close...
