I pass by the store a lot and I've come to realize that they throw out an abundance of meat. I have no problem with eating meat, however I think it is evil for businesses to stock such a surplus knowing full well that so much is destined for the trash can. I think an occasional shortage is much preferred than throwing out such valuable goods.
I urge Country Harvest to consider other options instead of putting the sacrifices of these animals to waste. Perhaps the business can consider better monitoring the best by date. If they do end up having more supply than demand, they can adjust their prices, supply, or redirect some product to other businesses like Huckster's Discount Grocery.

Yes they can't offer everything your going to find at the big box stores, but they have a great amount of choice with everything they carry. Also if there's something that you usually buy you can ask if they might be able to carry it. The workers are always helpful. Also inside they have The Black Box which has great coffee and tea.
