Rinconada Community Garden — Attraction in Palo Alto

This is a large community garden located right next to Rinconada Library. Local residents work in the garden at their leisure and are often willing to discuss what they are planting. The garden has a wide variety of vegetables and flowers, which for me were the main attraction. There is also a lot of wildlife around: birds, bees for days. Some squirrels in nearby trees. Its a really nice area to go and relax....

It is not only a wonderful place for people to grow their favorite veggies but also a great place to meet your neighbors. For a modest fee you get a small plot of land and the city provides water, compost and wood chips to cover ty paths.
