Torrance Beach is hands down one of the best beaches I’ve ever been to. It has the same stunning ocean views and clean sand as the more famous beaches, but without the chaos, crowds, or parking nightmares of places like Santa Monica or Venice. You actually feel like you can breathe here.
The beach itself is wide, clean, and well, maintained. There’s a long stretch of flat sand that’s perfect for families, couples, or solo beachgoers looking to relax without someone tossing a football over your head every five seconds. Lifeguards are on duty, restrooms are accessible, and there’s a small café nearby if you want snacks or a drink.
The Strand bike path runs along the edge, so you can walk, jog, or ride all the way up to Redondo or down into Palos Verdes if you’re feeling adventurous. Parking was shockingly easy, street parking all around, and even on a summer weekend, we didn’t have to circle more than once.
The waves are gentle enough for younger kids but still fun to jump in. The vibe is relaxed, friendly, and way less “Instagram influencer” than some of the other beaches up the coast. If you’re looking for a chill, beautiful beach with space to spread out and actually enjoy the ocean, Torrance Beach is the spot. 10/10. Will be coming back...

When nothing else matters but today, and today only, so let's love each other? When you get that inner voice in your consciousness telling you to "just let go, let God, live peacefully & calmly, and love everyone! So RELAX, enjoy, and have the time of your life"? This beach...

Parking was plentiful upon arrival. $7 to park, a small price to pay for close to the beach. Restrooms near by and life guards too. Clean area. Not too crowded. Everyone was doing their own thing and enjoying the beach as much as we did. Will come...
