BEST BUY/BIG BLUE BOX Needed a new charge cord for an old Samsung I refuse to trade out its paid for, works great. Checked the internet, they didn't have it or super expensive. I visited twice in the last year for computer/phone parts from BEST BUY. That is the most confusing store in the world. To get to where you have to go. You must talk to the greeter on the right and the cashier on the left and anyone you could get to look up and acknowledged you. Then you shoot a gauntlet, between stacked of merchandise which does not allow room fir your disabled customers. If someone wanted to steal a large TV 2 people could have done in easily. Both times, I was made to wait an exorbanite amount of time and it is obvious I'm disabled. Once in the place you have for the Geek Squad seats were unbearable. Then standing near part of the maze. Probable because you cant be seen from where they tell you to sit. I'm taller than than most people and I watched employees so engaged in their own conversations as they over looked customers trying to get help. Never saw anyone walk up to a customer who looked so totally lost? I should have borrowed some obnoxious kids. No joke, they were pulling on static displays, screaming, bumping into customers. They got a customer sales person like PDQ and we're on their way. I tried to stop him to ask a question, but he was busy and would get someone as soon as he could to come help me. His unifirm looked like he needed to be under a car and was several times to small. Then this young gentleman who was dressed like everyone else came through the front door, possibly from lunch. He was a deer in my head lights. I was still polite, but said can you help me please. I told him what I needed. He seemed to be relieved. He walked in the opposite direction I was sent by dumb and dumber at the front door. He pulled out a large ladder, in front of this pillar of all types of computer parts climed it with my old one in hand and was done in 30 seconds and WALA . We checked the cord and that included a brief synopsis. The employees are UN, NOT, NADDA, NIX friendly or customer oriented. I only gave it these stars for the gentleman 2 Stars who helped me and they had the piece I needed in the store 1Star. The rest of the employees looked right thru you or talked to you like you were stupid,.or continued with their personal conversation. I'm surprised your store is not hemmoraging money, due to your inattentive employees. Not just once, but twice, third time I'll get it anywhere else. I was going to bring my vehicle in to get the stereo cd looked at, but think I'll wait and go to someone who that is all they do. Afraid my car would still be sitting there...
Read morePanama City Square is a strip mall that has set number of great stores. Off the top of my head, the anchor store is of course the 23rd Street Walmart always a great option if you don't want to battle the crowd at the Super Center. They also tend to have more available pickup order time slots! There is also Big Lots, Harbor Freight, HomeGoods, Jewelry by John very reputable and longtime Panama City Jeweler, and let's not forget Five Guys! These are just a few of the stores in the plaza and as you can see it's a variety of stores that accommodate just about anything you need! Parking is a little quirky but it is well...
Read moreI love that there's such a variety of stores and restaurants. When we make a trip here I can go to Sally's if I'm thinking about doing something different to my hair or I could go to big Lots or t.j. maxx for clothes and house decor all while my fiance can to harbor freight to venture around things he likes. And the assortment of restaurants is great, you can opt for finer dining with bonefish, a great burger from 5 guys or some greek/Mediterranean with gyro cafe. All around an excellent Plaza for the whole family. Also if you can't find what you need at one of these other stores, there's always Walmart...
