My family and I were so excited to try out this experience based on the ratings. The videos and website look amazing! For a family of four it cost us $143 to do the detective themed room. Very expensive compared to other escape rooms, but with the ratings, I was very excited. You are assigned a guide who goes with you from room to room. You are given one hour to make it through three rooms using clues, deciphering, and critical thinking skills. The concept and the idea are pretty great, although I would still say the price was astronomical for what you get. Probably would have made more sense if it was about half the cost or if they threw in two games. I will say I was completely frustrated and disappointed that our guide was constantly giving us clues and pointers WITHOUT ASKING. I wanted time to bond with my kids, and for them to figure things out, not to be given the answers at the slightest indication of confusion or stumped thinking. She would literally not stop telling us what key, prop, or clue to use next. It completely ruined it for me. We completed the adventure in 30 minutes. Soooo disappointing!!
Pros: super awesome idea for families, great puzzles, great rooms, great props, great themes, friendly staff, clean.
Cons: very expensive for one game (3 rooms), having a guide who will direct your every move and give you...
Read moreWe recently celebrated our son’s birthday at Clueville and couldn’t be happier with the experience. With over 25 kids ranging from ages 4 to 13, we booked all four escape rooms—and the entire event was incredibly well-organized and smooth, thanks to the outstanding staff.
The team was extremely supportive and coordinated, helping us group the kids by age for the different rooms. Our son was thrilled to choose which friends to join him in his escape room adventure. Each room had a dedicated guide who kept the experience fun and engaging, assisting the kids with puzzles along the way.
After an exciting hour in the escape rooms, the staff seamlessly transitioned into helping us serve pizza and cake for both kids and adults. Clueville also provided a variety of snacks and drinks, and we were allowed to bring in additional refreshments to accommodate our large group. Party favors were given to all the children, and we even received wonderful group photos of our son and our guests to remember the day.
Our son and all of our guests had an unforgettable time. A heartfelt thank you to Emily (manager), Jenna, Sydney, Mio, and Elaina for their exceptional support in making this day truly special for our child and...
Read moreupdate When they came home from this place, they said they had a great time, & they all loved it. Most of the kids were aged around 11, majority boys, as it was for a bday party, but anyway, we will definitely be back!
My grandson is on his way out there for a bday party this afternoon, so i will update review once they come back. I've always wanted to try an escape room, but have not done it yet. I just wanted to post because i saw somebody say that they thought $143 for 4 ppl was outrageous, but i just wanted to put that into perspective regarding entertainment in Phoenix. That's actually on par, i'd say. I spend $300 almost at Peter Piper Pizza, Castles n Coasters, Owynn's, etc, & the trampoline parks for an hour or two, plus food? Well over $100. This sounds like kids have to work together to problem solve, & come up with strategies....
