Went bowling for my husbands birthday tonight. When we arrived we were told we had to wait for a lane to be ready, which was fine as we were early for the 8-10 bowling time. The first girl we spoke to took our name and said she would call us when a lane was ready. At 8:20 we still hadn’t heard anything so we again went back to the counter. This time a different girl with short brown hair and glasses was working. We explained that we hadn’t been called for a lane and she offered no apology or explanation just said $35.35, and gave us a lane ticket. My husband said “are we still able to bowl the full 2 hours”, she said yes, it is from the time you start. We went on to bowl and promptly got kicked off at 10:00. My husband went to the counter and said I thought we were supposed to get the full 2 hours. Same girl, looks up from counting coins and then goes back to counting and doesn’t say a word or otherwise acknowledge him. My son also went up to the counter during bowling to get change for the machines (the change machine was down). Same girl looked at him and told him “get out of the way for paying customers”. Read moreOn Sunday January 8, 2023, my entire family visited Emerson Bowling Alley to have a Birthday party and celebrate my 59th birthday! We had a blast and the bowling alley was packed!!! (Other parties not just mine)
We reserved 2 lanes #45-46 for my blowout bowling comeback. There was about 14 of us total. For $90 we got both lanes for 2 hours of Cosmic Light Bowling (black lights, disco balls and loud 80s Rock) Kids loved it. We had a 4 yr old, 6 yr old and 9 yr old who told me it was the best birthday party EVER!!! 😂
That $90 also included the shoe rental for all my guest, 2 large pizzas one pepperoni and the other plain cheese with 2 pitchers of soda. We brought in our own cupcakes. We had a great time and we are planning another bowling trip in mid February. Highly recommend. Lots of fun, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The bar in the bowling alley offers full bar menu. There is also hot dogs, popcorn and pretzels. My hubby enjoyed the Buckets of Beer...
Read moreWent in at 4:30 pm with a group of 3 adults and 1 child, when we walked in the entrance the man vacuuming said it was “freaking (he actually used the curse word but I won’t be repeating that) rude of us to walk where he was vacuuming”. He was vacuuming beside the entrance, where else were we supposed to walk? He also said it loud enough for the child with us to hear. Then when we get to the counter and asked to purchase a game, the woman at the counter said “no, not gonna happen”. Then stared at us until we asked why. Then she explained a league was coming soon and taking all of their lanes. It was a weird interaction. We ended up going to the other bowling alley in town and we won’t...
