Hi. My name is Kevin Wilkerson. I’m a trustee and part of the Technology, Evangelism, Communication (TEC) group at Hiss United Methodist Church. TEC supports other areas of the church with use of technology social media etc. bringing the message of God into the 21st century.My Mom (Sadie) watched Hiss service at home because she wasn’t able to attend in person but because of streaming she was able to enjoy worshipping. You can worship God anywhere at Hiss. My Mom enjoyed worshipping through streaming and I will be doing the same. I’m moving to Georgia to be closer to my twin brother Keith and his family. My husband and I have been longtime members of Hiss church. My husband grew up in the church. I was welcomed with open arms to the church after we married in 1982. We have made lifelong friends, watched their kids grow up and now they have kids. Hiss is our home away from home. We moved to PA 15 years ago. There are five churches 5 minutes from our house and many more in the surrounding neighborhood, but we travel 45 minutes to come back home every Sunday. We are still active in the church. I play handbells, and my husband sings with the contemporary choir and helps with church events. The members are caring, and compassionate, and serve the community. They have a lot of FUN! Hiss...

I went to a church for 43 years growing up with Christian parents. I never really felt like I belonged because I didn't feel loved. I started searching for a bible teaching church and tried several, but still couldn't find what I was looking for. In 2010 I moved to Parkville and my landlord suggested Hiss.
