Ye Olde Emerald Tavern — Restaurant in Maryland

I was in the Emerald last night an witnessed something very disturbing. It was comedy night an there was someone at the mic. When an older well dressed gentleman walked in. He ordered a drink an started a conversation with some other patrons. He was a little loud yes an was asked to please quite down. When a younger patron yelled louder then him to. SHUT UP WELL this angered him at the disrespect an he yelled at the younger patron. When the comedian started to do a job verbally on him an where he came from an just made a spectacle of him with derogatory remarks. Well than he was asked to leave by the doorman an I am assuming someone that worked for the comedian. This gentalman finished his drink an left without episode. Everything was under control until the remark was yelled from the singing area.I think that the person that yelled the said remark should have been made to leave. The service at this place was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. I ordered through DoorDash and it said it would be delivered between 12:20-1230 but somehow they were still making it at 1:30. I got a cup of soup and avocado toast by the way. When I called the restaurant to see how much longer they would be, I had to call 4 times before someone picked up. Lady at the bar with glasses (9/29/25) had a dismissive attitude when completing a pickup order when i did nothing to her.
