Walgreens — Attraction in Parkville

Worst pharmacy in the world. Always short staffed, always rude, always a hassle getting scripts refilled. Don't even try calling, you'll be put on hold for at least 10 minutes.

Refilling online is a joke too. Normally my refill routine goes like this: -Submit refill request online. At the same time, call my doctor to request refill (they only submit it to my doctor half of the time). Doctor says they haven't received a request. Call Walgreens and after being on hold for 10 minutes, staff says "we'll get that to them" without further explanation. -Call doctor again, who says they received it and have faxed it. I then call walgreens to confirm and ask them to fill (more often than not, they get it from the doctor, but don't fill it until I request them to, usually once I've always arrived in store to pick it up..."Oh, we can have it ready in an hour."...."But did you not receive it from my doctor yesterday?"..."Yes. We can have it ready in an hour.". -Come back to pick it up a few hours later and am told they need a verbal verification from my doctor. It's the end of the day, and even though they've had the script since morning, they try calling WHILE I'M THERE, then say they can't reach anyone because they've all gone home. Says they'll try again the next day. -Next day, I call my doctor, who says they've tried calling to verbally verify that morning and have been put on hold the THREE times for at least 10 minutes before they hang up each time. -Call walgreens to ask why my doctor keeps getting put on hold when they're trying to verify. Get put on hold for 10 minutes before I hang up. Call right back and am told my doctor is "on the other line" verifying. -Finally, days after I originally requested the...

If I could give the pharmacy 0 stars that is what they deserve. 2 times I was told my prescriptions would be ready and when I went to pick them up they were not, so fast forward to the last time. Received a message on Saturday that they would be ready. This time I called to verify was told they were ready. Went in 2 days later and not only was my blood pressure medicine not ready they told me that they just had one script for pickup and didn't see that I could get the Blood Pressure Medicine. Spoke to the pharmacist on duty to get the Pharmacy Managers Phone Number. She refused, did not even look in the system to tell me to wait and they would get it ready. Left, an hour later got a text telling me they were ready. Of course by that time I could not get there before they were closed. Asked that it be delivered to me. They said that was not an option. Was told the store manager would call me back this morning. No call. I called back explained that at this point my blood pressure was 170/90 and was told I was abusive and she hung up on me. I called Corporate was then called back by the Pharmacy Manager. She said she could have it delivered but they can't deliver it to my work. She apologized but said none of this was their fault it was mine. When I told her I would have to take off work and cost myself money and If I had to do that I would write a bad review. This place needs to close its pharmacy unit. Any time I go in I receive terrible service. And I don't go in that often to them for stuff but it is always the same horrible service. They only seem focused on the store front and not so much in the back pharmacy in terms of quality of staff. Went there last night to try to get help finding a saline solution eye rinse. Thought the pharmacist who had no customers in line could come out and assist to recommend something. Instead sent out her "pharmacy tech". I even heard her say to the tech "he's looking for contact lens rinse"...noooo that is not what I said when I asked her for help. The pharmacist tech came out and even was like "yeah I don't know why she sent me out I'm just a pharmacist tech".....The pharmacist FINALLY actually came out to look and acted like she didn't know anything. The Pharmacist is incompetent there. She couldn't even tell that the larger box next to what I first got was simply two in of the same that I already had. Had to tell them three times no I AM NOT LOOKING FOR CONTACT LENS RINSE! Had to call the store manager who never came out. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE......! WASTE OF TIME! Only come here if need something emergency wise for candy/food or cards as that's all that they seem to care about...
