CVS — Attraction in Parsippany-Troy Hills

Waited 30 mins in line at pharmacy as customer#4. Cashier didnt know how to process a payment by personal check. She was too timid to ask someone else for help... which made the wait long. I finally get to the register... my prescription is not ready... it was submitted on line by my Dr. At 10:37 am and it was now 2:30. When i complain (loudly) the pharmacist, Abby, steps in and says she can expedite it in an hour. I was now more annoyed and her explanation is they are 1.5 days behind filling scripts bc they are shorthanded. And, they dont have one of the meds- fine, but i need the antibiotic. Meanwhile, this has been the same story since March. I storm out. I come back at 4:20 to the drive thru. Magically, they have the med they previously told me that they didnt have. But, they dont have the antibiotic!!! WHAT!!!! Why did u tell me to come back in an hour? Of course i get loud with the window worker and demand the pharmacist. Now, a guy comes to the window- a pharmacist- and restates they dont have it. Of course i yelled do you think there s another option? Why do I have to tell them to contact another CVS? Does anyone behind that counter have half a brain? I wait for 12 minutes w no status and had to knock on the window to get someone s attention. I had to leave to meet my kids. I drove away without any status update. They did call half hour later to tell me CVS 20 miles away had it. REALLY?? This is suburban NJ....CVS is every intersection! CVS Parsippany is hands down the worst. Manager, pharmacists... no one gives a dam... certainly no customer service. Tomorrow I ll have my scripts transferred...

When I called the pharmacy, I’m not sure who answered the phone whether it was the pharmacist or pharmacy tech. Most likely the tech, but the lady was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. I called them yesterday to fax a refill request to my doctors office and the next day I called this cvs pharmacy to tell them that I talked to my doctors office and my docs office did not receive a refill request from them and if they would be able to send another one. This useless lady started giving me an attitude and said we can’t keep sending in requests. I’m thinking in my head that it might be an issue where they sent it while they were closed late in the afternoon or early evening and perhaps the fax machine wasn’t on or receiving faxes. She kept saying oh well all our pharmacists are too busy giving COVID vaccines. This lady has to be one of the rudest, most ill-mannered person I have encounter in the pharmacy’s customer service. She seemed as if I was the fault of the issue for trying to obtain a refill for a medication that I need. Like lady what is your issue. I feel bad for giving the one star because I know the pharmacy has kind workers that I have dealt with before. But I have to give this one star review because that kind of service to a patient trying to obtain his medication was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I really hope I never have to deal with her again because I’m changing pharmacies...

I give it 3 stars for the pharmacy clerk who was super helpful and the other front desk clerk Ed who rang me up quickly with my purchases. I take off two stars because i was being followed around by a caucasian clerk around the store as if he was irritated by my service dog and my children. MIND you i was there late because I just came from Concentra because I had a severe infection. He also sent an undercover cop ( by the looks of it) who creeped out my oldest daughter. My children and i purchase 150 worth of hygiene products and snacks. Being a mom of multiple children I just didn't have time to go somewhere else and figure since i was waiting for my antibiotics,that I'll just buy it at this cvs. The treatment was creepy and the caucasian clerk followed us from pharmacy to the aisles; trying to be slick about it. He also told me that my dog needed to be on his leash, mind you my daughter was holding him and my younger daughter had unclipped it; while i was getting my script from pharmacist and there was an elderly women who was complimenting on how cute my daughter was. This clerk rudely interrupted and...
