Stopped here for the first time to pick up some brews for some company I had coming over after work. I grabbed my favorite,, Sierra Nevada pale ale 6 pack, and something everyone would like, Sam Adam's variety pack; cl"prime time beers". When I got home, I cracked a Sierra Nevada before my company came over. This was the single worst beer I had ever tasted in my life. It was borderline PUTRID. I immediately checked the brew date, which was 03/07/24. These beers have a shelf life of 5 months, so these should have been taken off the shelves early December of 24. I called the store to let them know, and they said they can help me with an exchange or money back. I then proceeded to crack a Sam Adam's beer, amd I checked the date on those cans. Sam Adam's cans have a sell by date, and it read 5/25. So they should have 2 more months before they go bad, assuming they're kept refrigerated. That beer too was literally disgusting. Clearly, it had been in and out of refrigeration several times based on my experience with skunked beer. I didn't bother calling the store back because they seemed willing to make things right, amd my company had started to arrive. Unbeknownst to me, my buddy drank the Sierra Nevada beers throughout our get together despite them being absolutely disgusting (he had a few beers in him before he moved onto the nevadas). I returned to the liquor store today to atleast try to exchange the skunked Sam Adam's 12 pack. The same guy I spike to (Bren/Brent) was at the store. He literally told me there is nothing he can do on the 12 pack and that I needed to come back on Saturday to TRY and work something out with the owner. This guy is responsible for closing the shop but can't authorize a 20 dollar exchange? I asked if he can call the owner to get it approved so I didn't have to waste an hour+ of a Saturday to exchange 20 dollars worth of beer (not worth my time), and he said no sorry were not able to call her. This was my first (and last) impression of this place. Absolute disappointment in their lack of customer service. Buyer be warned. And I'd say make sure to check the dates on they're products, but clearly you can't even trust that because the Sam Adam's should have been fine, but it was terribly skunked meaning they don't keep product at the proper temp constantly. I will never return. There's plenty of liquor stores in the area. Don't waste your time...
Read moreDecent small liquor store, convenient for the location. Agree with some of the reviews that prices are high, but what do you expect? It's a liquor convenience store, not a gargantuan liquor outlet. You'll spend more money in gas driving several miles to shop at a huge store in a mall. The same people complaining about the prices are the same people who buy their groceries at inflated prices next door at Quick Chek.
Staff is friendly, The previous reviewer sounds like he's on crack (Parsippany has been going downhill, lately, and a bunch of low lives have been infiltrating the area,...
Read moreSelection: horrible. Prices: hilarious. Biggest rip off in the world. CDC and State of New Jersey have said you do not need to wear a ridiculous mask anymore if you're vaccinated. Well, not in this store. They are still keeping the mask requirement going. Its a total joke, In one direction you can go to shop rite liquors or Joe Canals and the other you can go to Morris Plains liquors. Any one of those choices would be better than this place. $10 and change for a 6 pack of Bud,...
