Finally. Get-together with BFF! We decided we would meet and eat at her house and make a meal of what we had. But, I guess you know how that goes... She had deboned a chicken, but didn't really know what she wanted. I suggested Spanish rice and chicken tacos ๐ฎ, as I had the shells, salsa and rice at home. However didn't have veggies or tomato paste!!! So, a stop at the nearest Kroger was due. Found most everything I wanted in produce, but the store recently reset products (ugh!!! Have to get used to it!). Also added fresh fruit on the spur of the moment, but couldn't find the dip I wanted. So, I found Caleb working the produce department. He had to look it up, but he found what I was looking for. Twice I had to ask him again because I was quasi blind and didn't see what was right in front of me!!! (Do you know that feeling where you want to slap yourself upside the head?๐) Finally found everything, off to the register. Team Ariel, cashier, and bagger, Clay, were friendly and got the job done!!! Thumbs up ๐ to the three of you. The store was clean and navigateable, even though palettes were being moved around and displays being tinkered on. Wheelchair designated parking and accessibility are here as well. The employees were the ones that made it a great shopping...
ย ย ย Read moreI really hope this reaches the right person. I was a random customer who decided to stop in for a few items this evening. Iโm a single mom and had my two toddlers with me. Itโs been a very long day and both children were both extremely whiny. I finally got done with my shopping with a few tantrums and meltdowns. I made my way over to the self check out section. At this point, my children were still fighting and both throwing fits at the same time about wanting to scan items. I was 100% overwhelmed, tapped out, stressed out, tired, and completely over it. The employee working the self checkout, Ethan, came over and began speaking to my children. I believe he could tell I was stressed out. He then picked up the bread from my cart, and scanned it with both of my children. He fist bumped them, conversed with them, and gave them stickers. He did all of this out of the kindness of his heart. A true angel. While he had their attention, I was able to finish checking out. Once I got to the car, tears started to come down my face because I truly was just stunned at his random act of kindness and thoughtfulness. Now, this is what you call going above and beyond!! Huge Kudos...
ย ย ย Read moreMe and my family are shopping at the krogers probably at least five days a week. Today the cashier an older women made me feel very uncomfortable with her attitude. I guess she was casting judgment on me because when I pulled an ebt card out to payfor the groceries I purchased and then pulled a debit card to pay for the shampoo and conditioner. None of the products I was purchasing where for me today I was doing a favor for an elderly gentleman I know who has trouble getting around and needs to use a walker. Either way it doesnt matter if the products I'm buying are mine or not, why does this women feel the need to call me kid and shake her head at me the whole time I'm paying for the stuff I bought? I'm a 42 year old man not a kid she could have called me sir or just said nothing at all. She conducted herself in a very unprofessional way and I hope I'm the only person she feels the need to judge because I'm used to it because of the way I look. Just know it's those who feel the need to cast judgment onto others who really should be judging themselves. If she has a problem with people using foodstamps maybe working in a grocery store isn't the right...
