Kohl's is an interesting department store. Before you go through the doors, be sure you have done an internet search for any coupons available for items you intend to purchase. Also, view online the most recent sales and sale flyers.
Kohl's offers shopping carts and baskets as you enter this store, and, they have shopping carts with a child seat. I find this aspect of shopping very accommodating. However, for me, I wish the handles of the shopping carts were higher or adjustable.
The general layout of the store is basically a large rectangle intersected by a few shopping aisles. In the middle front of the store is a Sephora shop fully stocked.
There are a number of checkout lanes, and customers are directed to registers from one organized line.
Kohl's offers a wide variety of well stocked merchandise categories for in the home. When you shop for and purchase items, be sure to always check out areas of well defined sale and clearance items because when you combine sale and/or clearance items with an internet coupon and/or printed coupon you have the potential to save a large amount of money. Additionally, Kohl's will, from time to time offer "Kohl's Cash" valued at $10 or $15 for every $50 you purchase at the checkout, to be used on a future purchase.

I called customer service, and they redid the order and said we updated it and you will only get one order and one charge. Needless to say, I received 2 comforters and 2 chargers. I took the comforter back to Kohl's and was well taken care of. There was confusion with the order number because my order on my phone showed only 1 order number. Well, this woman, Deborah, in customer service, was determined to get to the bottom of this. The comforter I brought back had the same number as the one I had at home. We have already paid for that on my charge, so she couldn't credit it. Through her diligence, she was able to find the other order with a different order number and credit my account with the higher price comforter. She took the time to explain everything and the effects of Kohls cash. Every customer service needs a person like Deborah. Read moreNice enough store, but one of the sales ladies turned me off. I was shopping for a vest for a wedding the next day. The selection of vests was rather limited, with nothing my size (medium) in black (which was required for the wedding). I had to look around a bit for someone to ask for assistance. I spied a lady coming down one of the aisles and politely inquired whether there were more vests on display somewhere. She rather abruptly replied that the display I had been at were the only vests they carried. When I further inquired whether they had any more sizes in stock, she the brusque reply was that "no, everything is out on the rack". There was no apology for the inconvenience or anything. Her overall attitude was that she didn't want to be bothered by some lowly customer.
