The Container Store — Attraction in Peabody

Feedback for the designers and sales reps at the custom closet section. Just because someone comes in and says they originally were looking at IKEA closets for designs and DIY, does not automatically make them poor and you probably shouldn’t judge them for that. We initially thought we could create our own closet and since we are not builders, why would I buy high quality wood to mess around with? Funny enough the quality of the container store collection isn’t not that much better. If you are concerned about someone not being able to afford something, (which I’m not sure how that’s your job??) it’s probably a good start to say something along the lines of “this set up is XYZ amount”. I love the product but the customer service is per much non existent. I placed an online order for a full Elfa Decor system Sunday evening and realized I made a mistake. I spoke to one customer service agent the following morning and age told me I couldn’t change it because it was en route. Then she told me that I didn’t order the product I had a receipt for. Then I was disconnected which was just as well. I called back and someone went to the lengths to correct my error but had no way to cancel the extra parts I ordered. The Container Store has great and tempting products and solutions. However, they don't deliver. I mean that literally, I have not received my order in over three weeks and cannot get an update of the delivery date despite four phone calls and a couple of emails. No response - so very frustrating. I also received damaged goods in an earlier order I actually received a couple of months ago and can't get a response on how to get it replaced.
