This place is HORRIBLE I originally purchased some item on 10/31/23 by DEBT (they say you have 30 days return with receipt and today is 11/13/23) anyhow few days ago I had gone to the store and return items but while Iām there I selected something else so for the new purchases they used what I retuned and did it as an exchange and so I left. Today 11/13/23 I ended up going back to the Peabody store because I changed my mind (bracelet made my wrist dark plus I took one of the items to jewelry store was told stone was not real) Felicia who was very rude and kept saying I will not get my money back on my debt (my original form of payment on 10/31/23) but instead I am to get in store credit which is SO WRONG to do. PEOPLE BE AWARE When returning an item make sure you get your money BACK DO NOT use that money towards your new purchase even if they say they will do an exchange and apply that money towards your new purchases, because God forgive you change your mind your gonna get store credit you will NOT get your debt money back. This place has the worst customer service this Felicia kept repeating herself to me like 30 times like Iām stupid or something, stating I will not get money back on my card Iām gonna get store credit and that is final. Felicia said she was the store manager but she has NO customer service compassion skills. While she was humiliating me other employees found it funnyā¦
Please take my review seriously if you have a return get your form of payment back immediatelyā¦.DO NOT USE IT FOR ANOTHER PUCHASE or EXHANGE because YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET YOUR ORIGINAL FORM of PAYMENT BACK THEY WILL GIVE YOU STORE CREDIT. Shame on you, I am also gonna report them to better business bureau. Felicia acted like.oh well and would not give me owner corporate address so I can file a complaint she said owner is in Hawaii. Imagine that plus she was like we have no corporate office itās a family owed business. Thatās why they get away with this at the consumer expense. Plus there is no return policy that says anything relating to what happened to me itās not posted anywhere to the consumer. Receipt does...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI mean it when I say I literally never write reviews, especially poor ones about local businesses, but I feel wrong not sharing the experience I had today. Iāve had one small issue with the company in the past, but I was able to have it resolved, and love my trips to this store. Today when I went in, I saw the store manager who Iāve seen before. She is about 5ā5, black straight hair, middle aged, and has a KN95 hanging off one ear most of the time. Iām always uncomfortable while sheās there, as she will ask an inordinate amount of times if I need help, and I always get the vibe that she thinks Iām stealing, even though I would never do that, and make a purchase almost every time I go. Normally I just ignore this, but today as I was looking at rings I heard her verbally abusing one of her employees, and it was impossible to not look up. Iāve also heard her be rude to employees in the past, but this was extreme. When she saw me making eye contact, she said āCan I help you? Youāre staring at me like you need something.ā I was shocked, and said I was alright. She said great really sarcastically and then continued berating the cashier, but quieter. If I hadnāt already picked out my Motherās day gift I would have left. This 1 star review is not about all of the lovely employees Iāve encountered, or the product, both of which have kept me coming back time and time again. But I canāt ignore the hostile environment I feel every time I go in anymore. The negative energy I felt today was gross, and I feel belittled and offended by this person and their behavior towards...

I recently visited the Peabody Village Silversmith for the first time in many months, hoping the prior, lousy visit was a fluke. It was not. The store manager was still rude and unprofessional and treated me like garbage. It was only her, the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful and actually acknowledged me. The manager could not be bothered, simply glanced at me with disdain when I entered, then turned away. When she did, grudgingly, finally speak to me, she looked like she was spitting tacks. Yet she greeted the rest of the customers enthusiastically and with a big smile. Just a bit obvious, huh? So insulting.
In these difficult times, you would think a business would do everything it could to maintain their customer base, thereby turning a profit. But not here! I worked in retail for years and this was no way to treat a customer, period. I have also shopped at every location for years. I am done with this store for the time being and will have to think long and hard about the others. And I will be returning my purchase because you certainly do not deserve my money. There are plenty of other places that sell cute jewelry without the disrespectful service.
You have a lot of learning to do, Village Silversmith, about customer service, professionalism and...
