Drake Field — Attraction in Peachtree City

I love this area of Peachtree city...its right by their library, it closes at dark maybe? The walking path is illuminated which makes early morning walks easier wish there was better or more lighting for the path some areas were dark which I don't like because I'm usually looking for snakes...I mean it's Georgia and it's right by this beautiful body of water which is limited to PEACHTREE CITY RESIDENTS ONLY. You can utilize the water for rowing and fishing, but you can't have anything with a motor. There is a entry way but it's behind the gorgeous pavilion, which is nice it gives me "log cabin" vibes because of the wooden furniture, the pavilion is also handicap accessible! They have events in the field or around the water year around. Oh and bring your golf kart Peachtree city is known for their golf kart paths which are also pedestrian friendly...

If you're a "Park Person" like me I'm sure you'll love it....

Oh there isn't much shade in the designated setting areas, but plenty by the water so bring 2 blankets and a umbrella, heaven knows how long you'll be out there and as an added bonus it's not far from top notch restaurants and shopping without the "the shops are taking over"...

Lovely park! The views are wonderful; the paths are present (more on this in a moment); and the wildlife is certainly there... fun seeing the various birds and amphibians (well, the insects too - so awesome!). The paths. Paved. Hence 4 stars. I kinda feel bad because I kinda get it... but there is more than enough pavement in this world. And the golf carts... super awesome to offer them! But be careful when on foot (my experience: everyone was cool - eyes out for us pedestrians). Again, certainly every bit of 4 (4.5?) stars. Had a great time there, and absolutely will return. Now the management have make this place a really great. View of the lake is so beautiful and peaceful. You can do fishing over there. You can find really big fish in there. The management have updated the place that is great. They added lots of more siting bench and place so people can go and enjoy their time and release their stresses. But when it’s rain in some part of walking trails will cover with mud and water. Be careful on theses place. You can spend up to an hour on this place .
