I discovered this market a couple of years ago in my quest for grass-fed and grass-finished meats. You can find a variety of artisanal products including goat cheese, homemade jellies and jams, organic produce, baked goods of all sorts, personal care products, teas, salsas, sausages, other fresh farm products, jewelry, textiles, ceramics, wooden bird houses, herbs, and even tool sharpening. The offerings vary over time but are always worth investigating.
If you arrive hungry and thirsty, there are a variety of food trucks ready with offerings to satisfy those needs. Coffee lovers take note that the popular morning beverage is available along with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. There are even picnic tables where you can sit for a moment to enjoy your meal. There is usually live music being performed which is not too loud and adds a festive air to the weekly event, usually with different artists every week. I have seen magic tricks offered to delight you for less than the cost of a soda and baby goats in pens waiting to be petted. People bring their whole family, you can find customers wandering the aisles with their leashed pets in tow.
This is a year-round pop-up market that I believe runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., although I have only been on Saturdays. Parking can be tight and usually overflows onto the street. Forms of payment accepted vary but it seems that many vendors accept credit cards. There is a BoA ATM conveniently situated nearby. This is wheelchair accessible although the pavement is uneven in many places. I can't recall if portable toilets are available or not.
I hope you enjoy this market as...

Since i grew up in Belgium i am bilingual (actually 4 but who is counting 😆). Started a conversation with Ann the owner in French. She immediately gave me a piece of focaccia bread to try. I asked her where she grew up in France (Le Mans), but that was the extend of the conversation. I told her something else (how passionate i am myself about baking bread), but she simply turned her back on me after she figured out I wasn’t buying anything… wow. How rude… i guess this confirms what they say about the French… Not very friendly, and all about the...
Read moreI'm going to kindly disagree with one of the other reviews. Yes, the food trucks are not local to PTC but they are local to Atlanta, but all of the farms are in the towns neighboring Peachtree City. I know some of these owners personally and have for years. I love that they now have a way to get their vegetables and goods to the public. I mean, one guy even sits out in his truck full of watermelons all summer. I love it. The food truck Wednesdays have become something I look forward too, as we are too far from Atlanta to get to regularly try new restaurants or trendy things, and it gives me a taste of that. This has become a favorite weekly...
