My husband and I were in town for one day, near the beginning of May on a cloudy and rainy day around 65 degrees outside. Overall we are happy with the hotel and would stay again, but there are certainly pros and cons. I prefer to sleep in total darkness. We all know that is impossible at hotels. I appreciated the blackout curtains in the room, but in typical hotel fashion, they let in light around the perimeter. There are many lights outside around the exterior of the hotel and parking lot. There is a nonfunctioning mini fridge behind a cabinet below the TV. There is a functioning mini fridge on the floor underneath the desk. The fridge door is glass that you can see through. There is a light inside the fridge that doesn't turn off. I folded a bath towel in half and draped it over the fridge. It still looked like a glowing neon light in the room all night. If I was staying a second night, I would unplug the fridge. I can hear the TV in the room next to mine, so the sound proofing could use some improvement but overall it's not too loud. The room decor and furnishings are updated. The room looks nice. Everything is clean and smells fresh. The bed is fine but the pillows are highly uncomfortable. They flatten down and become hard. I like the coffee maker. It makes 2 cups at a time. The chairs on the balcony are plastic and coated in yellow pollen. I would recommend that the hotel clean the chairs on a regular basis, or replace with chairs that don't collect and show the pollen. A good option would be the chairs that are the thick mesh-y type material. The parking lot wraps partially around the hotel so you shouldn't have a problem finding a parking spot near your room. The hotel does have a sprawling design. The pool was difficult to find. There are 2 ways to access. The simplest way is to find a door that leads to the hotel courtyard and then you'll see the pool. There is an outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub. The pool felt cold; I don't think it's heated. The hot tub was unbearably hot. There is also an indoor pool and indoor hot tub. The indoor pool was a comfortable temperature and felt like it was slightly heated. The hot tub was warm. It was an appropriate temperature without being too hot. The outdoor and indoor pools are basically next to each other. The gym is connected to the indoor pool. There is an elevator past the gym where you can go up and get back to your room without being outside. If you remember the interior route, then you'll be able to do it in reverse to get back to the pool area from inside. We did not see signs in the hotel with directions to the pool. We did not eat breakfast as it appears there is an additional charge. It is disappointing that breakfast isn't included when we are paying such a high rate for a room.

My trip was for leisure, so my review is based of only the areas of the hotel I experienced. As a rewards member, I inquired about a room upgrade but was told they were sold out. BEFORE I asked, I checked online to see if the room I wanted was available for booking since it wasn't at the the time I originally booked. It was. I even verified it was available for the duration of my stay. Still I was told they were sold out even though I could book the room (and a couple others) online still even after I accepted the room I originally booked. The room itself was fine. I booked a king, so there's a nice couch for sitting. Along with bedside lamps, there are adjustable reading/night lights on each side of the bed. Bed itself was comfy, and I got a good night's sleep. I could tell the balcony had little to no use since there was no view. There were spider webs on the "fence" and furniture. I get that's nature, but there's a difference between webs from overnight and webs from days or weeks of no one cleaning or using. A MAJOR lack in the room is a full length mirror. I don't know if it was removed during renovations or just a lapse in design. The bathroom mirror is nice, but I'd like to see more than just my head to thigh. Breakfast was good. Full hot bar with cook-to-order options, bread area, fresh fruit and dairy. Breakfast attendant Justin was very...attentive! Chef Francis was very warm, sweet, informative, and a good cook! The shower ran brown water for about 10 seconds when I first turned it on. That was concerning. The pools are smaller than they appear in pictures, but still large enough to enjoy. Google earth is a much better representation. One pool I think was a hot tub, but it was so murky I wasn't even interested in getting in to find out. If it was, it wasn't bubbling, just murky still swamp-like water. The lobby seating area was nice. There was a section set up like a library reading area, another section set up like a den with a fire place, and then the bar area. There were elevator signs distinguishing which car to use, but I rode both, and they each took you to guest rooms. Don't know what that confusion was about. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I'd stay again on a solo trip (like this one), but I don't know if I'd recommend my friends and family to stay for special occasions. Especially not a girls trip. We'd really need that full length mirror!

My top 3 for good and not too good things here. It is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel; I came to a couple before; however, it is the first time I realized how fantastic everything is and the different value-added things they offer. My rating is positive, but I will share some good and some not-so-good things. Here are my top 3 things about this hotel: 1. Food/Snacks. Let's say you are getting to the hotel late, as I usually do, at a time most kitchens are closed in most hotels. This hotel is not the exception; however, they have a little grocery shop inside that has beer and wine and offers some salads, sandwiches, and snacks. It's pretty convenient. 2. Fitness Center. If you like to work out while traveling, the amenities around health in this hotel are pretty good: Super big fitness center, with many machines to at least cover the basics. Plus an indoor swimming pool. Plus an outdoor swimming pool. 3. Rooms. The rooms are big and nice. Most of the time get a double queen, and most of the time, I stay two nights, so I use one bed per night. Here are my top 3 (negative) about this hotel: 1. There's no water in the fitness center area. I understand we are in COVID times, but the water fountains are off, and they do not offer a complimentary water bottle. 2. Related to the point above, fitness centers do not open until 7 am. 3. Breakfast is not included and is a little expensive. At the time of this review, $22 per person. However, it is excellent service and food options. I'm also attaching some photos. I hope you enjoyed my review. Please be aware I took the room photo at the end of my stay, so it is not the best one, but at least you get to realize how the rooms are.

Horrible experience! Do not stay here! We prepaid for our room thru Priceline and at check in they asked for a card we assumed it was for incendentals, we have stayed at plenty of 4-5 star hotels and this is the norm, the fact that this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and there was no valet service should have been a red flag, well they held the full amount for the room on our card again! We used our debit instead of credit because we didn’t know this would happen and because of an accident on the way here we had to purchase a new windshield which over drew our bank without our knowledge. When we realized what happened we called the front desk who said they would contact Priceline and resolve the issue and call us back. 4 hours went by with no call we when we returned to the hotel we stopped by to find out what was going on. The girl at the desk seemed annoyed we were asking and said she had to email them because they didn’t answer. So I called Priceline and they answered right away then called the hotel for me and said the issue was resolved, instead they charged me another $50 to an overdrawn account and didn’t release the first charge, so I called the front desk again and ask that a manager contact me and I was hung up on. We almost changed hotels on the first night because of the state of this hotel, we booked for the indoor pool and can’t use it because the ceiling is falling in on it!!! So it was closed, and we to haul our bags up a steep hill to check in, only one elevator is working, they are doing roof contruction, the beds are terrible, the rooms are hot even on the lowest air setting, if your in the shower and a neighbor flushes their toilet you will get scalded, none of the outer doors are secured at night, the only highlight was the sweet girl who brought the room service coffee in the morning which I couldn’t reorder with the door hanger the next day because that wasn’t replaced when they did house keeping. I’m still in this purgatory till Monday, thanks for ruining my vacation!! I will update this if a manager contacts me, if I have to call...
