Peachtree City Library — Attraction in Peachtree City

It’s just so pretty during the late hours of night....flowing water and the reflection of the golden lights is calming, centering, and peaceful. It’s in a great section of town where there is access for everyone. (Well, to be honest, the place could use a few more handicap parking places because that section is a bit awkward to navigate.) But again, it’s a wonderful place to sit and read a book. So serene.

On my latest visit, I cried and my tears merged with the fountain’s water. I was deeply involved with the characters and I became enveloped with sadness and despair when my Kindle powered down. I needed to know the ending.

I went inside hoping to find a charger, and, you guys...they have books! So many books! Like....the words are printed on paper, then the paper is bound. A hard-backed protection against the inevitable spilled coffee and milk and coke and tea and energy drinks.

You get to read. Borrow. return. exchange! Over and over! You just need a card. You can also register to vote using your handwriting skills if you want.

I really thought the existence of books was simply an exaggerated attempt by our parents to have us feel guilty for our technological advancements. They must always remind us of how their lives were harder than ours, and I don’t know, maybe they were.

Please excuse me, I’m off to ask Alexa and Siri what they think of other generations. I’ll compare their responses; I might...

Love this library, love the network it is it exchange books stored at othe r locations. 3* because I am so sad that they are not fully reopening even as we come out of covid and CDC is lifting mask & social distance restrictions for fully vaccinated vpeople. I am well aware of the health concerns but to not allow use of any of the activity rooms until 'covid is over' and have No measurement of what does it mean to have covid is over... There's a good chance that Covid will never be over because there's 30% of our population that's going to refuse to get vaccinated. That means a lot of taxpayer dollars are going into supporting this library that does not service the...

Hey um just saying you wanna make sure u get Mrs Susan at the library. She is great! She goes out of her way to make a personal connection with u. She is usually in the children’s section, when she is there, so yeah. This COVID-19 stuff is gonna change that, sure, but whatever. I do hope she comes back. Oh also they have rlly good study places for school. Sometimes it can get a little noisy. It depends. Also, great books. Feel like I’ve read them all. I have not. Lol. Catch me there some weekdays!
