Torque Motorsports — Attraction in Peachtree Corners

I usually don’t leave reviews, and I really am posting this from a place of constructive criticism, not hate.

The people that work there are super cool and very helpful! But honestly the quality of the rigs is just unforgivable considering how easy it would be to fix.

The two times I went, I used about 6 different rigs and the front two bolts in every single wheel base weren’t installed. Because of this, the wheel was allowed to flex up and down like it was on a spring, feeling like I was about to break the entire wheel from the mount. This also makes the force feedback feel very numb. Their reasoning was that they just didn’t have the right brackets. Dude.. take ten minutes with a drill and make it worth the money please. Another note, the motion rigs are not set up well at all, and lazily flop you side to side. I ended up in a lean to one side or the other the entire time and just ended up asking them to leave the motion rig turned off for my sessions.

Super disappointing, I have the same simagic wheels they do at home, and have thousands of hours on sim rigs. I feel like they just rely on the general public not having any clue what a well set up rig feels like so no one complains, but man, I know better.

Can’t stress enough how good the vibes were and how kind the staff is though! I still bought multiple hours of seat time each visit. But please, guys.. please fix these super...

The staff in this store are not friendly at all. I came to this store last weekend and told the front desk staff that I chose the model and track. The front desk staff told me that I had to wait for an hour. As a result, the guests behind me also chose the model and track, so they paid directly to play without waiting. I asked the front desk staff why I need to wait and everyone behind me can jump in line to play. The front desk staff said, then you can wait for half an hour to play. I said there are vacant seats now? Why not play now. The front desk staff immediately changed their tune and said that you can play now. Excuse me, this is how your store treats new guests and allows you to play without queuing, right? This place has a lot going for it but the sim rigs themselves were pretty disappointing. My main complaint is how poorly the rigs were maintained. All of the wheels had a ton of play in them. Yes, there was some chassis flex, but that is (to an extent) forgivable. The fact that the wheel moved up and down a full inch in its brackets is not. Such an easy and cheap fix yet it seems like they have been that way for a long time. The shift knob on my rig was also not attached at all. Another easy fix, yet it hasn't been done either.

A secondary criticism is that I couldn't hear my own car over the drifting. I don't know why those rigs were turned up so loud. Some headrest mounted speakers would be nice but I understand that is a more expensive and...
