We had the best time at Buck Jackson Rodeo Arena during the Pecos Rodeo! Visiting Grandma in town turned into an unforgettable adventure when she managed to snag box seats for Real Men Wear Pink night. Of course, we couldn’t show up without wearing pink, so the whole family went shopping to make sure we were ready—it was such a fun way to start the evening! The atmosphere at the arena was electric. Watching the talented competitors put their skills to the test was absolutely thrilling, and the crowd’s energy made it even better. The event was incredibly well-organized, and it felt like the whole community came together to celebrate and cheer on the participants. We have laid over at the Buck Jackson Rodeo grounds several times over the last few years. They are AMAZING! The facilities are clean and safe and their hospitality is second to none! They are so gracious and accommodating! Great little Mexican Restaurant right up the road and Holiday Inn right next door if you'd like to opt out of your LQ for a night. Would have gotten 5 star if the water were turned on. This is a convenient over night of traveling with horses. Free! Can’t beat that. There are very nice panels no roof. Problem is there is nothing there to clean your pen out. Maybe place a sign to put manure 4 feet in front of the panels so staff can come with a tractor and scrap it up?
