I quit going here .
The food looks like left overs , and I have seen a bug at the counter on one of the stack of plates one time only once though.
The owner once gave me his number to call if I wanted to place a call in order, several times I've called he never answers this includes texts as well haha 😂.( Personal cell phone number)
The place is rarely ever packed and if you go down the street other restaurants you can't even get in the doors it's so packed .
When I told the owner I call the number he gave me for call in orders he really couldn't explain why he doesn't answer and I can tell he didn't like me pointing that out ,so I got the cold shoulder treatment a few times after that , it got to the point where portions like beans and rice were spoon size , I'd send it back to get normal size portions.
You may try it and love it you can decide for yourself God bless you.
For me though I can assure you Pecos has plenty of other options.
This restaurant has the advantage of being Infront of hwy 285 which I believe is it's saving grace 😆.
Your experience may widely differ, I suggest you try it then...
Read moreThe most pathetic buffet ever! Usually come on Sundays when menudo and caldo are available, but as a person with gout, I can't have beef, or dark meat chicken. 2x I requested white meat breast and I was told it will be taken to my table. 20 min later my grandfather is done eating and all Ive had is a spoon of corn and green beans ( bland as HELL). I asked for a partail refund but I was told that once you touch the buffet, no refund is issued. That's the sorriest excuse of policy I've ever heard of and one that will surely kill this revived Mc Donald's that will have you quite the opposite of "I'm loving it!" For the record I made my case clear to the cashier but the owner wouldn't budge. Just one last note, She THINKS she makes KFC flavored chicken having past history with the chain, but it's just sorry, greasy, mostly flavorless chicken. If you want KFC, It's back, drive the .4 mi down the ways for a real...
Read moreThey had a huge menu but We had the buffet here and I was a little sceptical and in no way wanted MORE Mexican food. However, we decided to settle with this place. They had fried chicken, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, salad bar, and then I saw the Mexican food!... They had these little beef and potato empenada/gordita pockets.....SHUT UP.....YUM! THEY WERE VERY GOOD ESPECIALLY WITH THE HOMEMADE SALSA! The gentleman who waited on us was super nice and seemed to be the owner and his wife was steadily bringing fresh homemade food to the buffet. Alongside the empanadas they had tamales....eeehhh...they were tasty but not enough meat. There was also beans, rice, and desert.....I'm Cajun and they did a bang up job on the bread pudding as well! The atmosphere is that of a dairy Queen and it's a oil field town but its definitely a great place to eat over all! I...
