My guy hasn’t ever been to a dog park. He has lived at the end of a dead end road his whole life and we recently moved into apartments and it’s a very overwhelming experience for him. He is big and looks it but he’s really a sweet boy. People mistake him for a Pitty and he is a mix of Lab and who knows what😂. So we went last night around 8:20-8:30 and it was empty but my anxiety got the best of me because he has been by himself his whole life I don’t know what how he would react to conflict if such came. I kept him on his leash the whole time which wasn’t fun for him, but it was so nice and very well kept no doggy poo on grass. I think we will go back and maybe around 9ish so I can let him off his leash and run some. Read moreThis is a great park for pups of all types a sea and ages. There are a few people on Weekends who are awful and rude this old guy in a walker and his nasty lady friend will come at you cuss you out if your dog goes near their 2 cranky old Rottweilers. Now I don't blame the dogs because they have never done anything but the old dude yells and says if you don't keep your dog away his dog will kill your dog. The park is wonderful and very very well kept up. They are building a great playground near the...
Read morePelham dog park is a great place to take your pet! It is divided into two areas: one for larger dogs and the other for smaller dogs. There is lots of running room for the gifts, as well as a number of obstacles for them to enjoy. There is also a steady supply of tennis balls from the Pelham Racquet Club!
I have two concerns that cause my review to only have four stars. The first is that there are several low areas that fill up with water when it rains and become mud holes -- they need to be filled. The second is that on our most recent visit (01/23/2021) we noticed that one of the gate locks was broken and needs...
