Pelham Public Library — Attraction in Pelham

So I have been to multiple libraries in the Jefferson and Shelby counties. However, this particular location in Pelham is outstanding! When I say ALL the staff is on one accord and are super helpful. I mean it. Its rare to find that in today's society at different locations especially during these times. Oberall, they are just great workers and people who love what they do but don't always get compensated for it. Most importantly, I just want to show my appreciation and love for all of them down to Chris, Matt and the women for being so kind and generous during these difficult times. Keep up the great work and don't stop what your doing even on those bad days because you never know whose day you can change but being so compassionate and kind. We love this library. We've been going to Pelham Public Library for 11 years and I don't have one complaint. We've been to other libraries in the general area, but this one is our favorite. Before the pandemic, we were going 3-5 times a week. The librarians are so friendly and informative. The tech librarian has been so good for my teens. He's always available to help them whether it be library or career related. The teen librarian is always super friendly and happy to see us and willing to order books my kids are interested in when the budget allows. We have had great experiences with the children's librarians as well over the years. We absolutely love our local library (even though we’re Alabaster 😉) It’s especially wonderful for the littles, of whom I have one that is 3, and she adores their P. J. Storytime with Ms. Ashley, (and Ms. Rachel) along with bubble time, crafts, and cookies to take home! The entire staff is wonderful! Also completely appreciate the attitude and intelligent interesting suggestions from the teen librarian, who’s often at the front, as well. Could probably shout out to all the librarians, but unfortunately I’m terrible with names, sorry, you guys! There’s good spaces upstairs, also, for adult meetings. And I also always find the latest sci/fi-fantasy novel I didn’t know I needed to read, and non-fiction, as well. Again, great library. You should definitely check it out (get it😆...
