CRINGE. Iām not sure what happened, but I asked about a piece and the person responding said that it was mine and they would bring it to it to Birmingham. He or she even offered to let me inspect it. When I followed up he or she acted like they had not said any of those things and then refused to ship or take another product photo. I noted that this was extremely poor customer service (and obvious what the prior offer was because the entire exchange was written out). Instead of working with me they kept reiterating that how dare I ask of the things they previously offered to do and repeated that the piece was worth $500 and it was a deal at $100. While this may be true, I did not understand why the price had anything to do with his or her prior offer of terms (Re: delivery). Perhaps my experience would be different in person, but I just wanted to warn anyone that this individual felt a little āscamāy and to not send Venmo/ credit card info etc. !!!!!!!!!
Also: despite what the seller said below in response to the aboveāI did not ask for delivery or inspection first. In fact, they offered it. That is why this entire exchange is baffling. I only originally asked if the set had sold or not. They responded that they would be āglad to bring it to Birminghamā. Again, this is all in written form. The reply to this post is also baffling. Buyer beware! If this is how the seller is acting when communications are written, I can only imagine what a nightmare it could be without evidence/proof/written...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to an estate sale today in Bessemer hosted by this company. At the start it was a usual sale, but after only 5 minutes my party of 4 was essentially berated about "picking things up that we didn't know if we were going to buy". I have never been to a business, let alone an estate sale that you had to be 100% sure of your purchase before even picking up an item.
After this back and forth with one of the employees of the estate sale, she said that "you shouldn't pick things up unless you are definitely buying it because someone else may want to buy it". Well which one is it? If I have to know I'm going to buy it then there's no may about it. That next person better know without a shadow of a doubt before they pickup an item that they are going to purchase.
I understand concerns of theft and all, but at the end of the day the point of the sale is to sell things. If you automatically assume that people are stealing from you, or wasting your time because they are unsure of if they want something or not, then not many people are going to stick around for a $200...

11/29/20 Been to several more sales this company has held and let me tell you - the same great people are there at every one of them. I look forward to each sale. Denise is the most knowledgeable person I know in this business. She treats everyone with respect and values good customers. If I am looking for a specific item I have told her and she remembers and has let me know when there is something I want at the next sale. She respects the owners of the homes and their possessions when she is handling sales. Keep doing what you do Denise because you are the best at it!!
