Love this place, buying stuff here is nice but finding things I’d never heard of before is so much fun. A lot of items are Amazon returns that people just didn’t like or fit after all, or Target clearance items that didn’t sell so you never know what will be there. I think of the store as an important part of the circular economy, keeping things out of landfills when it The owner is kind and fair. My first few times I was afraid to buy things I thought weren’t worth the price of the day but he will sometimes give two items for that price, etc., you can always ask! As the week goes on, as people open packaging to see what items are, pieces can get separated and lost and I wish people would take a second to just put things back together, but I understand they are in a hurry. Inspect anything you are going to buy to make sure all the parts are there, since sometimes things are returned because of missing parts and you don’t want to be surprised. I usually try to reunite items in the bins when I notice they’ve gotten scattered, maybe that’s how I got on his good side and he gives us deals, but he always seems happy to see people he recognizes and sometimes will give people snacks or little extra items for kids. I would consider him an outstanding pillar of the community for the way he treats everyone who walks through the door, no matter who they are. Well done, sir. May you enjoy success...

Pros:
Think Crazy Cazboys only with more variety in clothing sizes. At Crazy Cazboys, if they got an item in, it was all in one size at a time. Here, they had a variety of clothing items and in a multitude of sizes. Even dog harnesses were in S-L.
The owner was super sweet and friendly. There was a major language barrier, as he's Palestinian, but he was extremely friendly and gave me some Contact strips on the house.
Cons:
It was FRIGID inside. I mean, colder than the outdoor temp the day a winter storm front was coming in kinda cold.
It was so ridiculously cluttered and dusty in there, my nose was running and I kept having to stifle sneezes. The walls were inundated top to bottom with boxes carrying God knows what.
There were no toiletries and a surprising amount of products that cater to literally only one demographic.
All in all, I'd probably go back on a different day with lower prices to see if they carry toiletries from S. Korea, but I might wear a larger...
Read moreSeriously? $20 Saturdays for stuff that came off Target pallets clearance and returns? Be so for real right now. If you are broke just say that. If you didn't have a good marketing plan just say that. But going into a bins and having only $5 items in the bin and starting a week off at $20 is insane. Someone needs to take this old man back to the drawing board with his business plan because this little shop isn't going to keep on running with prices that insane. I really hope they rethink their plan and when they decide to actually run a REAL bins store then they can come up to Crazy Prices in Athens, AL and see where the money...
