This house was built in 1871 by Mrs. Dorr after her husband and eldest son died in 1871.
What I thought was very interesting was the photo designed with the hair of a dead loved one. This was common during this era.
We were told that the kitchen and boys bedroom had been modernized because someone involved with house wanted to live in it. I forgot who and details. So we only saw sitting room, dining room and 2 bedrooms upstairs.
The young woman who gave tour is also at the Museum of Agriculture. She is wearing dress from early 1800’s.
This is a guided tour so go to Museum of Agriculture to find out times. We toured the church at 1pm then went to house after.

Two of the houses are on the small side although grand in the Victorian style.
