Knoxville Square — Attraction in Peoria

This Kroger store is great! It is extremely well managed and the employees are all very helpful and knowledgeable. The store is always clean and easy to navigate. Even though they are very short-staffed these days and many employees are working over 40 hours a week, everyone still seems to have a smile on their face and a pleasant greeting for their customers. I've been shopping there for over 10 years and I have never had anything negative to say about this store. A lot of the products I buy are their private label ones. Kroger is very disappointing I had bought 30$ worth produce on Wednesday night and had to return all of it Thursday morning because it was all moldy. The staff was very rude and thought I was lying about it even though I had my receipt. The only store I go to over there is Dollar Tree and they are not friendly over there either. The store is always crowded and nothing fully stocked. Some how today they weren't enforcing the masks I saw 6 customers without them. And out of the 12 items I needed I only found 3. I bought $50 worth. I checked out at self check out. I thought milk rang up wrong. I was polite and asked the clerk if she could see how much it rang up. She pointed and said,"there it is" and took off. After I paid I checked my receipt, 2 items rang up higher than ticketed in aisle. I went to check to be sure I was correct and than went to customer service. The person went to check, both things were their fault. i did get my money back on my debit card, but no, "we are sorry" nothing. What if I didnt check? I expect more...
